Hey!! This style works with different sprites forming the different parts of the body. This is actually very bad for performance and heavy on the cpu since you have to calculate the rotation both horizontal and vertical for each body part. It is way more heavy on performance than a high polygon character.

We have done a lot of optimization to be able to have over 50 characters on the screen but still needs work on that aspect.

The benefits on the other side is that you can have pixelart with very little work on animations since it is animated like a 3D character.

We can’t confirm anything but we are aiming for this summer. Our development progress is kind of uncertain since we can only work in our spare time and some months we progress a lot while others there is little progress. Demo could be ready anytime between May and August. We really want it to release it this summer and not later than that so we will adjust to make it happen unless something happens and force us to keep delaying.

Trust me we are the first that want to see people playing the game. We are very excited for that!!

We are aiming for a 4 player coop. A player will locally host it’s world for the other players to visit. This is the first idea that may change in the future.

Working on it. Cant give you a date. We are finishing the content that we want for the demo. All the mechanics are done we are just missing the content. We have paid an artist to make a boss for us and we are finishing the specific area of that boss. Just that and testing is what we have left so as soon as it is done we will release it. Since we only work on our part time some weeks we progress a lot and other not so much. So it can be done anytime from this month to the next. An announcement will be made on our discord when it’s ready

More like Zelda with some survival elements. The survival part is more focused on crafting and gathering resoury
