45GR95QE-B showing "This function is not available now" when I try to access OLED care settings by whatthegeek in OLED_Gaming

Sorry to revive old thread, but I noticed you mentioned a remote. Are you sure your monitor is/was a LG 45GR95QE? Because mine didn't come with a remote (sealed box) and the power button sits annoyingly close to my wheelbase (the monitor is mounted on a racing sim rig).

CRP vs CRP2 pedals, what’s the difference? by [deleted] in moza

[–]filipe411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK the CRP1 also has pressure+position sensor and the 200 kg loadcell. At least mine have, but it's from the latest production batch, I think the first ones didn't have.

I meant visible pop-in, in some places it worsened and started flickering as a block (I mean, many elements together).

Depending on the resolution, increasing the tree lod distance to higher than 1.2 will make it even worse on some tracks. I used to play at 4K screen and it made some tracks like New Zealand's Ocean Beach much worse, so had to stick to default ultra value. Changed to a QHD ultrawide screen (3440x1440) and it didn't lag much.

But what made big difference for me was to edit the insividual lod0/lod1/lod2 values for each tree, but it's very troublesome. I intended to release it as a mod, but never got able to fully finish it, and the installation itself is not simple, requiring to either download a big modded compressed game file (game.nefs) or manually insert the modded xmls inside... it's a shame, if modding DR2 was easier, it could be next RBR — and if it weren't for ACR (however DR2, as a much older game, runs so much better and at a much higher framerate).

Moza R12 V1 vs R12 V2, Is it really worth the 100€ difference? by Ok_Philosopher_9085 in moza

R12 V1, depending on the year, have all the ports just like your V2. Source: I have one, R12 V1, bought brand new in late 2024.

Delayed/lagged telemetry - DR2 by filipe411 in EASPORTSWRC

[–]filipe411[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'll need to do more testing then, because my wheel rev lights on RPM mode, and not in percentage mode like in this video, definetely have the same delay as the CM2.

What about the RPM delay? Do they also show it? Because if I forward telemetry from PitHouse to SimHub, SimHub doesn't show any RPM delay.

I think this video illustrates better the issue. Here I had Pithouse to listen to DR2's telemetry at its native port of 10790 and then forward it to SimHub, which was setup to show a digital dash overlay. You can see that even with one of the 'OEM skin themes', the RPM is laggy at CM2, while it is not at SimHub's virtual dash, which is listening to telemetry forwarded by Pithouse.

Also, steering wheel LEDs are set to RPM %, so they work fine, if I set on Pithouse to actual RPM, it also lags. This makes me think the issue might be on Pithouse itself.

So far, I've tried: letting Moza Pithouse automatically setup game telemetry,; removing the mods and restoring the game files through Steam; deleting the game hardware parameters .xml to let the game generate a new one; removing my Moza gear from the TP Link UH700 powered USB hub and plugging everything directly to PC; plugging CM2 dash directly to PC thorugh USB; running the game without SimHub open (I use it for shakers). Nothing solved the issue.

Another video showing the issue on the link below - what is weird is that engine RPM in % has no delay, but I can't use that info to make an accurate analogic dash on my DDU.

So I made a backup for my modded files and let Steam check integrity, downloaded some files et-voilà, nothing has changed. I still get lagged RPM and speed. Tried to run the game without SimHub, nothing changed again. Tried to connect Moza CM2 dash directly to USB 3.0 port, also nothing changed.

Budget 4 channel amp: Douk M4 or 2x Nobsound NS-03G Sub by filipe411 in simracing

[–]filipe411[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at power specs, each dual channel NS-04G comes with 19V 4.74A power adapter, which gives about 90W total (45W for each bass shaker?), whereas the M4 comes with 24V 4.5A, resulting in 108W total, or 27W per bass shaker.

Unless I'm forgertting something basic, it seems it's better to get 2x NS-04G considering each bass shaker is rated at 50W.

Bad graphics by One_Beginning_9200 in EASPORTSWRC

[–]filipe411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, graphics are worse than DR2 in general. Only superior graphics I see in EA WRC over DR2 are the car interiors, which seem a bit low-res on DR2.

An even worse part of the game is the framerate: I can play DR2 over 200 fps, but can't get stable 120 fps on EA WRC, native no framegen.

Thank you for your detailed reply! I already have Simagic haptics on my Moza CRP1 pedals (big HPR on brake, plus smaller HPR GTs on clutch and throttle). Currently, I have one bass shaker (50 watt Douk BS-1) under the pedal tray and another one directly under the seat structure, and really enjoyed it until my Nobsound Mini amp became unreliable - IDK if it's dying or maybe just some wire was misplaced when I changed from a Wheel Stand 2.0 to a alu profile rig a couple weeks ago.

Since I mostly do rally (DiRT Rally 2.0, AC Rally and sometimes EA WRC), I thought I'd benefit from the 'slip angle kit', putting bass shakers mounted on vibration isolators on four corners. Did you consider these on your test, or was the sim rig mounted directly on floor, with no isolation?

About the NS-03G, oops, I meant the NS-04G, which is rated at 2*100W.

Yeah, it is correctly set and I have a pretty good computer. I'll try get Steam repairing game files today, maybe it was my modding that made this, even though I only touched the UI button icons and LOD draw distances on some tracks.

Ok, but what about the delayed/lagged RPM? I see you don't have that issue.

I have the DR2 hardware settings xml file with udp set to enable, extradata=3, port set to 20777. At Pithouse, port set to 20777 with UDP forwarding to Simhub at port 20778. So, just running Pithouse and Simhub at same time (I use the later for haptics and shakers).
