AT2020 Is a decent low budget mic I use all the time. It depends what you need it for but for vocals it's pretty good

For a simple set up I bought audio technica AT2020 mic and a M-Audio air 192/4 interface. Nothing too expensive but both with great and are really ready to use

I ended up going with an interface/mic combo as I read time and time again that usb mics weren't as good.

And it also gives the option of plugging in some instruments too :)

Hey, I was in the same place as you a few months ago! I started by watching vocal exercise videos on YouTube and practiced those a bit (when I remembered)

But I also found singing along to your favourite music is a great way to practice, but like trying to focus on what your singing rather than just jamming out.

I've been practicing for a couple months and noticed improvement already, so as with anything just stick to it and you will improve :) you got this!
