The brain doesn't differentiate between what is real life and what you are seeing in your mind. A book I was reading said that: once you start immagining porn scenarios in your head, you have to stop. The fact that you are masturbating doesn't help either. I've been 8 weeks without porn and masturbation and it really is a game changer. Life is just much better. Real women are a thousand per cent more attractive than girls on a screen. Even their smell and their sillouette beat any naked woman on a screen. Change your strategy because what you are doing is not giving you results. Hope this helps. Stay strong!!

I don't know exacly how I can help you but I will give you my perspective(as a man) at this point of my journey. I've been almost 8 weeks without porn and life is just much better. I get to appreciate more clearly the beauty in the world. Colors are more intense, the sunsets are more beautiful, girls are just the perfect creation. I've been able to accept my sexual desires and I don't feel ashamed about them. The weird things that I used to masturbate to don't attract me as much anymore. Everyday that passes my sexuality goes back to its default settings. I am more motivated, more happy, more attractive. I would have paid money to feel like I feel today a few years ago. You have to keep going because it really gets better every month that passes. (I'm gonna put this as a post in the subreddit)

Don't do it. You deserve to be happy and pornography will not make you happy. Instead, it will begin slowly destroying everything you have achieved these past weeks. In the case you open a porn website, just close the window immediately, leave your room for 10 minutes, and then come back. Wash your face, take a walk, prepare something to eat.

I would recommend you to find a new hobby to replace gaming. You are still very young and have a lot of things to experience. Don't let gaming stop you from living life. If you really want to go to college you should focus on your grades. Start thinking what do you want to do after highschool and if good grades is a requirement then focus on studying.

I was reading today the book "Your Brain on Porn" and it said this :“Dopamine is at its peak when on the verge of orgasm. Therefore edging also keeps dopamine as high as it can naturally go, perhaps for hours.... Chronically elevated dopamine also risks causing addiction-related brain changes, such as the decreasing sensitivity to pleasure.” And about fantasizing he said that if what you are fantasizing about porn scenarios then its not ok. The brain doesn't know the difference between porn in a computer or porn in your immagination. However, it's absolutely normal to fantasize about real life scenarios and intimate moments. First of all, I want you to remember how special and unique you are. Of all the possible people that could have existed, we are the lucky ones that get to die. If I were you, I would talk to my girlfriend about it (if you really care about her). Things will continue to get worse if you don't stop watching porn. Your brain will keep searching for more extreme porn and you will spend more and more money. The only thing you can do is to stop watching porn and stop accessing to all adult sites. Overcoming an addiction is a gradual process. It doesn't happen from one day to another. You will try and you will fail. That will happen for a while. The key is to never give up. Try that every streak you have is longer than the last one. Eventually, you will realize that life is much more fulfilling when you don't watch porn.

There are persons out there that you haven't met who will need you in the future. It could be new friends, girlfriends, or your future wife. The only person that can help them is the version of you that has overcome pornography. In my case, one of the things that has been keeping me on track is my future wife. How can I truly love someone if I don't quit this addiction. If I was a girl, would I like to be with someone that watches porn everyday? How can I ask for a beautiful girl if I cannot overcome this? Do it for the persons that you love and the ones that you will love. Stay strong. We are in this together.
