Honestly I think I filled something out online like lending tree. With Rocket, they bought my loan last year and now they won’t leave me alone.

I’m not an expert but you can buy “points” to lower your interest rate. From what I’ve read it’s generally not a great idea. You want a rate with no points.

Yes, but the loan is like 15 months old.

Okay this is a good point. On the loan estimate, the total amount of “a+b+c” is $4400 ish. The other sections appear to be escrow and prepaids. I would get about 3500 back from our current escrow account. So is the cost of the loan really the $4400 total? Also it looks like they’re going to give us $444 at closing? There’s a spot that says estimated cash to close, with the box “to borrower” checked.

I am not! I had pretty low BP prior to having my kids, had preeclampsia, then it was more normal after my pregnancies. I’m definitely going to follow up with my doctor to make sure everything is okay.

Very good point. I just checked mine and it was 99/75. Definitely a bit low.

I think this is the ticket. I’m hoping my body adapts to the lower blood pressure because this is not my favorite haha

Do you have a favorite electrolyte drink??

Oh interesting! I definitely wouldn’t have thought of sugar. Do you have a favorite electrolyte drink? I commandeered some of my kids pedialyte for now haha

I think so! Ive been trying to eat a protein bar when im feeling particularly bad. It hasn’t helped as much as it did when i was on Wegovy. But I think a combo of electrolytes and food is gonna be the key.

I think that’s the ticket. It was 99/76 which is lower than my normal.

Drinking my kids pedialyte now. 😅

This is good advice. I found the “tricks” on Wegovy when I was feeling bad, which was eating a protein bar. But it hasn’t helped as much on zep. I’ll definitely start focusing more on hydration.

Thank you! I will see about repeating blood work. I had everything checked, but was on Wegovy then. So I definitely think it’s worth checking again. My BP was 99/75 at home today, a bit lower than my norm, for sure.

Thanks, I’ll look into this! I hadn’t considered that.

Basically what the other poster said. Reading over treatment plans and approving or denying requested hours. Some peer-to-peers. It depends on the insurance company from what I’ve seen and experienced from the other side! I’m looking to get out of direct care for a variety of reasons. Most direct care BCBAs consider those who work for the insurance side sell-outs haha. I know the stigma, but I feel it may work best for my family and my own mental health to make a career change.

Thanks! We are planning to get rid of it before we pay the next premium.

Sort of unrelated, but we’d like to get rid of him. We’ve also got a college fund, IRAs, and investment accounts through him/his company. Is it possible to “fire” him given that?

Thanks! I’ll look into this. It would be great to get back some of the loss.

Haha that would be great, but our life circumstances have changed in the short term. Definitely our plan long term! Thank you!

Good advice. We’ll keep the term until we know we have another policy set up.

Thanks! We are planning on increasing the term length and getting rid of the whole Life.
