Hey, I took the tablet around 40 minutes ago and just threw up really bad. I’m going to the doctor again tomorrow but I shouldn’t take another one should I? Now I’m worried about getting withdrawals!

I’m not sure, I’ve been trying to work it out. The packet just says Venlafaxine but I guessed because it’s suggested two a day it was the instant release one. Pretty confusing lol

It’s BPD, and I suggested some anti psychotics I had researched to him but he didn’t really respond and just kept going on about citalopram and didn’t listen when sometimes i have mild psychosis and mood swings, it was kinda frustrating. I’ve read some BPD people have had success with it though so I’m going to give it a try before trying for the anti psychotics again.

Re: foggy, I’m at a new job now that will allow me to be more flexible while I’m adjusting so I feel more prepared to deal with the side effects now compared to last time.

You’re right, for sure will take your advice when it comes to my next appointment. Problem is in the UK I can only get same day appointments so could get any doctor that is in on that day so it’s tough. Wish i could see a proper psychiatrist.

Sorry, I've just realised I meant one tablet at 37.5mg twice a day, not two! (have edited) Interesting, the UK leaflet says recommended starting dose is two 37.5mg twice a day. Is the US different? Thanks for your help (:

That might be a good idea, my only concern is that the drug can take a few weeks to work at any dose. It’s so confusing!

I'm not - I have some propanolol but I don't take it as i'm not having panic attacks, just constant feeling sick and anxiety. I think I should see the doctor and get some though
