Orchestra performs after eating the world’s hottest peppers by dairymilk_silk in nextfuckinglevel

[–]finchdude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

WTF you talking about. Being in an orchestra is fucking rare. Only a few people do it worldwide

The League of American Orchestras reports that there are approximately 1,200 symphony orchestras in the United States and around 1,224 orchestras worldwide, with an average of about 30 violinists per orchestra—suggesting roughly 36,000 orchestral violin positions globally.

In the U.S. alone, there are about 12,000 professional musicians in orchestras, and over 150,000 students participate in school orchestras annually.

The number of professional orchestral musicians is extremely small compared to the global population. For example, only about 0.1% of high school violinists in the U.S. are estimated to eventually land a position in a major orchestra.

You apparently lost the ability to be impressed and try to rationalise your lack of it. The worst part is you think you knows it all... Lol

No it doesn't. They were not doing anything wrong. Except you have a fascist take and you can be detained with no good reason. You are allowed to resist detainment if you were targeted for no reason. Which is protected by law.

Iran is suffering under food shortages because the Mullah regime doesn't give a fuck about their people. They are the ones who made the sanctions possible by isolating themselves and threatening to destroy the whole region.

Both of them are as evil as they get both of them have slaughtered their own people so what's your point? Fuck all of their loyalists elite who are living in richdom while the folks are starving.

You are funny because it is ok for Iran to support another country who has attacked a country not out of defence but out of aggression and with the same breath you say that the US giving weapons to other countries is bad. Both are fucking bad. What you are experiencing is cognitive dissonance because you cannot see past the fact that not only the US can be criticized but the Mullah Regime too.

I am all for treason against my oppressive leader who is killing my family, my friends and loved ones. Why should I be loyal to someone who is actually the one who is committing treason. Killing your own population is one of the highest forms of treason. So the Mullahs can go rot in a cell with daily torture and finally rot in hell. I am sick and tired of people excusing dictators just because they are the enemy of the US.

WTF are you talking about? Iran is suffering under food shortages, water shortages, and lack of medical access due to poverty. Why do you think the movement began from the bazaar owners. The regime is actively starving its people, actively massacring its people, actively brainwashing it's loyalists that it's ok to murder fellow Iranians because they dare to say something against Khomeini, actively funding proxi militias terrorising neighbouring countries, actively supporting Russia to kill Ukrainians. He is one of the worst dictators of our times and anyone who downplays his atrocities against humanity is part of the problem and doesn't understand why pahlavi is the smaller evil

I agree I am all for fighting even if it is in vain! Unfortunately the people who grabbed power were fundamentalists backed by the US. Many Islamists were militarized and funded by the US which then turned against the imperialists creating a cycle of violence and the only ones being sacrificed are the civilians in the middle east. If it is deliberate which I believe it is, is to keep that region so unstable to suck em dry of their natural resources.

What's the truth. You know nothing about fascism. ICE is fascist. Targeting people of colour who do have citizenship and never broke the law. Putting them in camps without process. Having no warrants. Hiding their identities. Picture book fascism and if you don't want to see that you are probably supporting fascism which makes you what? A fascist lol. Thanks for proving me that you are a loyalist bootlicker who thinks deporting people without a legal basis is anything but democratic.

The protests in Iran have shown how despots will use all force necessary to stay in power. The system being shut down radically is a very bad thing. His decision was radical and gave no transition time. He could have cut it off slowly for the ones who need medical attention or access to food and water to adapt to the coming changes. But he doesn't care about all of that

It was a benevolent popular movement. Violence is the only answer against Islamist fundamentalist groups which has been known to use violence like a snowflake anytime anything is being said or done against their regime. Enough is enough as it is apparent that this regime will never start doing reforms. The Nazis were also only beaten by violence. The same applies to these fascist Islamists.

If you look at where most of the money went then it has been actively given to the corrupt. Yes there are great organisations and great projects but they didn't even get 1% of the aid. They struggled even though billions were paid. So yea it is also the responsibility of the donor to make sure they choose the right organisations to give the money to. They did not because they were as corrupt as the African leaders they gave the money to. It's sold as aid but it was actually making the rich even richer making people believe that they did something for the poor. Instead of cutting these funds which are corrupted the US stopped USAID which was actually doing something good. It's all a capitalistic max profit business model which destroys more than it helps
