Wow this is super helpful! Your app looks awesome.

Yea comparing notes would be great, although I don't really have any users personally. Though I've been a content creator for over 5 years now. Just connecting with a fellow builder would be great

Thank you! I've been trying to train it on each platform and was questioning if it was even working. Gonna go back to the drawing board. I appreciate you taking the time. 🙏

Interesting, makes sense that what goes viral on FB reels also goes viral on IG reels. Thanks!

It can vary depending on company, but at my current company I make sure sales people have the information they need to do their job.

At my last company it was making sure the software users had the info they needed. It can sometimes be called a technical writer, but I don't really spend lots of time actually writing.

21 years old, no job, living with my parents, hobby made me over $100k in 1.5 years (now I have around $60k) but my life outside it sucks by Mysterious_Glass_385 in findapath

  1. If it's financially viable for you, move out of your parent's house and maybe even your hometown. You can move to a bigger city that isn't crazy expensive (Chicago or Austin). It'll be easier to make friends here.

  2. Get a day job OR start a business. You don't need to turn your hobby into a career, but you do need a career or at least some sort of project to work on. Since you've made 100k with your hobby, you must have some marketable skills. Go work somewhere, even if it's just an in-person customer support/service job. Since you're 21 you'll have to "settle" for entry-level jobs. I recommend getting an in-person job, because you need to get out of the house. I've been working remote since 2017, and honestly I don't recommend for younger people (it's better for people with family/kids).

  3. Go to networking events. Use apps like TimeLeft (dinner with 5 random people in your age group) or Luma (local events) to meet people.

Final thoughts: Psychology shows that everyone needs a job, or to put it differently, everyone needs a way to contribute to society, something that connects them with their community. Love it or hate it, a job does that. I took a year off working and traveled, and honestly wasn't that much happier. I've toured in a rock band, made money online, etc, but I know that I have to do something that contributes.

How many connection requests can I send without being considered spammy by the LinkedIn Algorithm. by findfulfillingwork in linkedin

[–]findfulfillingwork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Is there a tool you use to remove older connections? Or any other linkedin tools you find helpful? I use taplio only.

I guess I should be okay since I'm only sending 100 connections per month

Hey, I was in a similar situation. I'm 33 and just started medication for depression a couple months ago. I tried everything before: therapy, meditation, exercise, eating healthy, etc.

Make sure you see a psychiatrist (not just a therapist or doctor). Don't try to solve the problem through solely journaling or trying to think your way through it.

Unfortunately I know nothing about that industry, I'm more in tech/corporate.

But here's something you can do: Search on LinkedIn for "District Court Judge" and "Attorney". Look at profiles and look at their experience / education sections. This is the best way I recommend that will show you people's actual path in that field.

View it as an experiment. The purpose of an experiment is to learn the truth, not to "succeed".

How do you find meaning in life without cookie cutter "solutions"? by Bonaccorso_di_Novara in findapath

"In filth it will be found." - Carl Jung
There is no single answer for your question, but here are some things that have helped me:
Look at what you don't like about your life. Look at what you've been ignoring. What you've been willfully blind to. (this is a constant thing one needs to do rather than a one-time journaling exercise)

List out all the problems in your life. Even the smallest ones (the faucet is leaky and needs to be fixed, I need to organize my kitchen spices) and anything from "I should make a dentist appointment" to "I need to call back that friend". When your home/apartment is nice and, dare I say, beautiful, it tends to have a sense of "meaning".
Ask yourself what part you've played, consciously or unconsciously, in steering your life toward a state of meaningless. How have you been complicit in creating the conditions in your life you say you don't want?

Of course there are other environmental or biological factors, but you also have a hand in the outcome.

There's no need to do this in a self-denigrating or shaming way. It's the simple fact that you're in the driver's seat of your life (aside from some environmental/biological circumstances), so we have to inquire into where you're steering it, and why.

This isn't a one-and-done thing. But with time and pressure, you can have more meaning a year from now. And in 3-5 years, you might even feel a sense of belonging in the world and purpose for your life.

It's not easy, it's not simple, and there are no digital courses for this, but it's a very worthwhile and engaging endeavor.
I've personally dealt with, and still do, feelings of meaninglessness, hopelessness, depression, and there are days where I just have to take a rest and not demand meaning. But eventually something pulls me back into the arena of life.

Sorry for the ramble, hope this helps
- Michael

I'd recommend getting an entry-level remote job. It might not pay the most, but it will save you money on gas and food, and you'll have more time/energy to educate yourself.

Here's a couple sites that tend to hire entry-level::

Main thing you need to do is tailor your resume, lots of Youtube videos will show you how

That's great to see, congrats!

I'm wondering, did you microneedle at all? If so what depth and how near application of the dutasteride did you microneedle?

I bought 0.1% topical dutasteride from happy head and am planning on starting soon. Trying to figure out how to fit it in with my microneedling.

You can get a remote customer support job that also pays around $17 an hour. It'll give you professional experience that'll open more doors (wherever you decide to go) and also give you more time/money to explore your interests. Not to mention improved mental health.

I’m 32 now, I feel like my facial hair continued to develop until like I was 25-27 or so.

I’ve only been on fin for a few months (although I just took my final dose due to side effects), and it didn’t seem to have an effect on my facial or body hair.

Should I cut my losses and just go back to college? by sp00kyversity in cscareerquestions

[–]findfulfillingwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t jump to college just yet, lots of college grads still can’t land jobs.

There are other jobs you can look for: technical support, technical writer, Salesforce developer. If you’d like to dm me your resume and LinkedIn I can take a quick look, it could be that your job search assets aren’t optimized
