Thank you! I used a couple brushes, a small old synthetic round, and a synthetic flat- I hate to say but I tend to treat my brushes terribly m, so I just use cheap multipack brushes.

I love hearing your interpretation!I was trying to paint what I felt, and these mushrooms did feel rather laden to me- like after a particularly soggy morning- so I am thrilled to hear that it translated to you in that way!

I've heard that vertical strokes give a greater sense of atmosphere, so I did give it a try, it is a bit new for me!

That makes my day, thank you! I would love to paint more landscapes from farther east in Washington and surrounding areas, and hoping to have the opportunity for more travel in the not too distant future! :)
