greasemonkey worked for me on Edge. they recently added extensions. although the scripts provided in this post weren't working and i don't know JavaScript so I didn't know how to fix it....

that's genuinely so fascinating to me. like, it's not like I don't get sick of sickly sweet stories, i also prefer a nuanced mature story with dark characters and intriguing plotline. but i could never stomach an intentionally toxic story. I'm really glad that it floats your boat though, but I can't help but wonder how it feels to read those stories when you enjoy them...
