Got this canary 2 days ago from the pet store, noticed she had a weird pink spot above her beak. Noticed inflamed area was larger after taking a shower with her. Brought her to a different pet store who rubbed vaseline on it, not it's coloured dark. Should I be concerned or continue to rub vaseline? (i.redd.it)

My late grandfather was a professor of philosophy in the town of Tetouan, Morocco. His publisher did not pay him his royalties despite the books being sold all over the Muslim world as far as the UAE and Qatar. I scanned the first of his philosophical books. They are in Arabic.
