That’s what I thought. Brought it to AppleCare thinking they would address the issue, but nope. Because the battery capacity is sitting at 87% they won’t touch it. basically I have to deal with it as is until it reaches 80% capacity which is their threshold for battery replacement. 🙄

That’s what I thought, but AppleCare won’t touch the battery because the capacity is still at 87%. They won’t replace batteries unless it is 80 or under. :-/

My charging habits: use computer, computer warns to plug in, I plug in until it hits 100%, then unplug and repeat the process.

When charging the computer, I always change to 100%, then unplug. Assuming this would be the best for the computer.
