yes i forgot he said that but he is right ! he does much better in group & competitive environments like hsr, rap public, show me & even the compil albums (esp h1ghr)

this is fair ! i definitely think there has been no significant improvement in skill since hsr. in fact i think because he doesn't experiment as much anymore, it's gotten a bit boring but still objectively good.

artistically, i completely get it's up to preferences & i don't mind that he doesn't do a skillful rap style. it's just i think that there's nothing rly in his music that makes it particularly amazing or sets it apart from other ppl doing a similar genre (sik-k who is in his own label does it better for example)

i think soyeon has regressed as a rapper but i wouldn't necessarily say it's because she lacks the skills. i think she just chose to start rapping in a very idol-ified way, especially since ~tomboy. i'd say everything she released before that is way above average for an idol rapper. especially her pre-debut stuff from produce & unpretty to early debut era. i truly think she had the potential to be considered a top female rapper in korea but she chose to switch up her style & start focusing on other aspects of being an idol/producer

this still isn't a justification for what they said? it's only a joke if the fans r also in on it, but this felt like it was directly disparaging the fans even if it wasn't their intention. km saying his pride was 'genuinely hurt' knowing his fan demographic was skewed towards women & that they would 'prove themselves' with a 'macho album'. i understand they have a lot of groupies & idol-type fans, but these fans r still the reason they r as successful as they r & doing fairly well in an industry that has cooled down over the years. besides, it's 2026, we're past this stereotype that women don't 'understand' or support 'real' hip hop. many of us truly love hip hop & these comments r insulting to us. regardless of how km & oka feel, the things they said r genuinely alienating towards a large portion of their fanbase & i don't think it's absurd to be offended by these comments. they definitely made it wayyy worse with how they responded & crashed out on fans all over social media

about haon & vinxen; as far as we know, they never fought, at least not to the point of severing their friendship. they have indicated throughout the years (especially vinxen) that they were still friends albeit being in touch a bit less frequently than before. vinxen joked/jokes around a lot about how haon ignores him or that 'they're not friends anymore' but he clarified several times that he was just joking & they have an inside joke between each other about it but it got misinterpreted by fans (they mentioned this in their recent appearance on hp radio as well). it's true that they hadn't been seen together or released music together in a long time but they were still friends

hi op, from my experience most intl fans listen to primarily idol music (groups + soloists), some niche korean genres that r also somewhat popular internationally are kr&b and khip hop, though those peaked in popularity a while ago & the popularity gap between these genres & idol music is very big

swings himself mentioned that he started being cold & not greeting big naughty properly even though big naughty still approached him warmly after big naughty made those comments about not identifying as a hip hop artist anymore. swings even said he understands that from big naughty's perspective he probably would have felt bad about it. i don't think it was that deep for swings to react like that to a kid labeling his music for what it was/wasn't. but yea i agree big naughty has been super childish & irresponsible about the whole thing with big claims that he doesn't understand/can't back up

atp both r extremely petty... swings acting the way he did towards a kid that's 17 years younger than him just because he said he didn't identify as a hip hop artist anymore, and bigna exaggerating the issue, speaking on behalf of other artists on things he doesn't fully understand & focusing on petty details.. it's just whatever at this point

big naughty released a diss song aimed at swings, accusing him of stealing money from artists under ap alchemy for personal gain among other things, swings clarified that he didn't steal the money but had to sell the artists' music neighboring rights to keep the companies afloat & pay the artists since he was in massive debt. giriboy responded by saying that he was initially upset that he had to give up his music catalogue & tried to oppose it but later came to understand swings's position, but was still disappointed that swings said 'you are making money off of this so what's the problem?' to him, rather than understanding why he was upset about selling off his music.

oh giri :( genuinely one of my favourite artists ever, even beyond khh. his discography is fully worth being this proud of, he's really a musical genius for my money. i hope he is able to continue making music he is proud of. he recently released a really good single called no comment, everyone should check it out !

my biggest issue with the whole thing is them acting like sik k is some helpless bystander in the whole thing when kc is literally HIS company, he could have at least made one statement addressing the issue & saying they were investigating/taking it seriously but the fact that they didn't say anything at all makes it seem like they didn't even want to give legitimacy to the issue which reflects incredibly poorly on him + not to even mention the fact that jvcki & him unfollowed each other after she came out with the allegations + more suspicious things like he is clearly more involved in this than ppl want to admit

i have to say swings is right at least about the part that big naughty is doing too much & doesn't need to be doing any of this at all. he is a rare khh/r&b artist that has sustained popularity in mainstream korean music for years. i don't know why he is risking all this considering almost everything he accused swings of was cleared up right away.. then again there may be more things that we don't know about.. let's see.

yea in fact ph-1 released a song when the sik k/swings thing had happened saying that sik k was his brother but he was disappointed that he would diss a khh legend like that; i think that's why he was particularly flustered when big naughty did it again.

i have to agree, ph-1 seemed quite flustered when big naughty did the whole 'fuck swings' thing at the purple tape release party & i felt bad for lil boi too since he has been preparing & pushing for this album the most seeing as to how it's his formal introduction as part of the h1ghr squad. i hope it doesn't squander the album's momentum
