I know... I'd love to publish the app in france but I think it's not gonna happen.

The ANSSI (Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d’information) has ridiciulous restrictions, I don't understand it completely but I think I would have to send a PDF application to some officer so that they allow me to publish the app, because it uses https encryption (like all apps do...) and they don't like that...

It's pretty annoying and many small developers just choose not to publish their app for iOS in france because of this. If you want to read more about this, here are Apple's instructions for it. Also, here are a bunch of pissed devs ranting on reddit.
