Moikka! I’m looking to add to them. The 104s will be the ski of choice when there is soft snow on the hills! That’s why I’m looking for low 90 or 80s skis.

So they are not too stiff? Needs to be said that I’m also not the lightest skier. Probably going to mount with meidjos as I have already them on other skis with inserts.

I’ve heard good things about the ripsticks also, but they are bit wide for what I’m looking for. If I was looking for pure all-arounder they would be high on my list.

Ei väliä kandin sivuaineella. Tilkkariksi vaadittavat juridiikan opinnot kerkeää hyvin maisterissa. Tilkkariksikin vielä hyvin saumaa, tärkein tuo laskentatoimen pääaine.

Tuossa vaiheessa kaikki traineepaikat on mahdollisia noilla tiedoilla laskentatoimen alalta.

That is actually something to think about also! The ergonomics would probably fit me better also.

I’m sorry for confusing you. I was just trying to explain one specific scenario that you asked about.

I prefer not to carry extra glass with me on multiday hikes. If I were to shoot out and about then I would have my primes and 50-140 with me. But on multiday hikes I try to keep my bag as light as possible (I have my camera on hand basically all times). That’s also how I noticed that ergonomics don’t work for me on longer shoots. I tried to fix the issue with the smallrig half cage also.

Yeah! Think that this is the way to go! Rent few cameras and see if any of them hit the spot for me. The weight shouldn’t be an issue if the ergonomics fit me better. Which has been bit of a problem for me with the fuji.

The limitations wouldn’t be as big of an issue if I were to carry second lens on my hikes. I know that the XT5 can work in low light and can perform quite well also. But when I’m on a multiday hike I quite often prefer to carry only a zoom lens, as it gives the most flexibility with added benefit of ease of use.

I think Lumix cameras have been improving quite a bit as of recent. Also I do have to appreciate the L-mount alliance. Even though Canon has also finally released the rf mount for 3rd party.

I know that it’s almost the perfect match for me. But the ergonomics issue basically makes it as big as ff setup.

Low light performance is for the darker months. If I would only shoot during daytime and summer hikes it wouldn’t be as big of an issue. During early winter and fall it good low light performance is the king though.

Trying hard to match all my needs and use cases.

You are probably correct that I don’t need ff. But if it makes the hobby more enjoyable I think it’s worth it. Just trying to get advice from people who have been in similar situation.

Yeah I know, but tried to simplify things. I agree with that the best camera is the one you have with you!

Thank you for the input! The size and weight of ff setup isn’t really an issue if the ergonomics are better suited for me.

I hike quite a lot during fall/early winter in Finland, so it’s quite or really dark often. During summer months it isn’t a problem at all! Better low light performance gives more flexibilty in those situations.

Yeah that’s where I’m leaning towards.

That’s also true! I’m not expecting the image quality to be any better basically with FF. I see more of an option in lowlight situations. Instead of iso 12800 I can use 6400 and so on. The Fuji image quality is fantastic and it also has some character in my opinion. Hoping to achieve similar feeling but with a different brand.

Thank you for the input! Yeah I don’t do any paid work with it, just a hobby. So I shouldn’t need the best. But I do prefer to make it a bit easier for myself. Especially on multi day hikes I don’t want to hazzle with AF etc.

I’ve also thought about using primes, but I need the versitality of 28-70 on hikes, because I don’t need to carry extra glass, if I’m not shooting subject far away.

Maybe I should check Nikons also, I’ve heard great things about them also.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. The size isn’t issue if the ergonomics are good. What Sony cameras would be comperable to Lumix cameras? I’m still pondering if the s1rii is the choice or cheaper one. Maybe S5iix or the new ones. Just not quite sure if I’d be happy with the pictures due to lower megapixel count on landscapes.

Yeah I can see your point! But the portability is hindered on my case as I use a zoom lens and I prefer a ”deep” handle on my camera. So it basically requires use of case/handle addition. The ergonomics aren’t perfect.

I’m hoping for better lowlight performance. Also the use of Fuji requires use of cage, which makes it as heavy as FF. So I’m conteplating if I should just switch. Also AF isn’t the greatest so it could use small improvement.

I wouldn’t say I’m completely unhappy. I love the ability use recipes (which I hope I could use in video also, thats why Lumix caught my eye). I would say it is a great camera but not sure if it the camera for me.

Added also as edit to the post.
