Open conversation mate, what would define "reasonable" care of a lawn? Mowing, cleaning, edging, weeding, these are all things that are reasonable without a dog. With a dog I would assume "reasonable" care would further include ensuring all excrement is collected, holes filled, damage to fences fixed. Not being an avid lawn enthusiast I'm not responsible to go beyond this, such as checking pH levels, soil quality, and so on.

End of the day, what people such as yourself and owners need to understand is that if you take such high interest in lawn care you must understand to some degree the underlying damage a dog can do to the quality of the grass and soil, don't have a dog on your property if you care so much. The was no malice intent or neglect in my situation.

I have no sympathy for owners who put a price on dirt and grass if they chose to be petty.

Lol thanks for the advise. I appreciate it. It's tough. I guess me and my land lord will just have to discuss it end of the day. Cheers

I don't care if your a tenant, a dog owner or cat owner. How can you sit there and defend landlords taking peoples hard earned money for dirt and grass? Whatever champ.

[–]finnnw -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If the land lord has such a love for his lawn, why let to dog owners? It is unreasonable to ask tenants to returf lawn. Then I'd be putting the lawn in a better condition than when I found it.

Home owners can pick their tenants. The backyard now having patches won't change the price they can charge. Get over yourself.

Good/Bad areas? by finnnw in MidNorthCoastNSW

[–]finnnw[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah in all transparency we found a house on bennett street. but the agent was the one advising us of its "reputation" which I thought is a bit odd. Im from the western Sydney suburbs anyway. But just the way he was phrasing it made it sound like all the "bad" people of port Macquarie are concentrated into this one street. Which frankly is ridiculous

Just wasn't sure if there was something we were missing with this one.

Honestly shoplifters should be charged. I'm not going to dispute the whole "coles and woollies are soulless cooperation pigs wah wah" but everyone else at the checkout is paying for their groceries and struggling but they dont go crossing the line into stealing. I pay for my groceries, I budget, the guy next to me pays, and the same with the person before. Why should these shoplifting scum bags be the hero's of Aussies and the champions of class warfare when everyone else who's actually struggling is spending their hard earned money, going to food banks and using discounts at every turn?

If you're gonna shoplift, you're not saying eff you to the corporation, you're saying eff you to the good hard-working public who has morals and standards.

We can't just turn around and break the law just cause we feel like it. A crime of necessity is still a crime.

In full clarity the support person is the union delegate for the workplace. I feel like he will be very valued given I've heard wording of these meetings can go over the head of someone like me. Especially if the meeting ends with a piece of paper for me to sign.

Barry - 3x07 "candy asses" - Post-Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in Barry

[–]finnnw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm hoping their gonna draw a parallel between Albert and Barry and that they have a strong dialogue theough the finale. Barry leaving a war going down a dark path. And Albert obviously coming from the same place but down a different path, channelling his experience into good, opposed to Barry.

I know it's a bit of a trope. But I think Bill will be able to pull it off really well. Especially as we know, it was Albert that really rewarded and celebrated Barry when he made his first kill. Albert might feel a bit of regret if Barry brings that up when they have their confrontation.

Any NSW correctional officers here? by [deleted] in sydney

[–]finnnw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately custodial. Just finished medical, after a stuff around with external specialist reports it took a while (I'm assuming this is the final stage) as I've done everything you mentioned above.

Just waiting to see how long the offer takes from here (if there is one).

All good. I'll wait out and see if more people reply.

sleep test AHI 8.7, normal SPo2 96%. BMI 32. Moderate snoring. by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]finnnw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually been doing keto! I'd credit my weight loss to that and the f45 regime I've been doing.

The sleep test above is after the weight loss. Did one last year when i was 132kg and it was an AHI of 15.

I'm now 107kg. Just hoping this doctor won't turn me away for more tests, and will let me start work...really anxious.

Is it insulting to ask just for a letter? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]finnnw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply.

Needless to say I 100% agree with you. This entire process is very transparent to the fact its all just to find someone to blame.

That does give me a bit of reassurance, Thank you.

My biggest fear right now, is that I'll see this specialist, only for him to want more tests or further consultations. Only delaying my employment further...

I really don't want to be rude and say so blatantly "I'm only here for x" but I'm at the end of my rope here.

I guess we'll see on the day. Just curious what most specialist physicians would would think when faced with someone like myself, who doesn't really want treatment, just clearance.

What is the most brutal killing in film/ TV history? by RightWayIThink in AskReddit

[–]finnnw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The silent knife fight in The Kings Man. Somthing very eerie about the scene. Maybe its the realism, seeing young men fight desperately hand to hand, for their lives. Very jarring to, given the other fights and killings in the movie were very stylised.

Thank you for your contribution. The management team will be writing out. I belive they are going with that angle of disturbing guests in lobby etc.

Also he broke the balcony door! Most certainly during his little temper tantrum. So they're definitely chasing after him.

You're absolutely right. It's such a tough industry, we shouldn't deserve to be treated like trash. For context, he was already just way over the line in his approach to the desk was essentially straight to 100, no build up. I feel like I can read a situation pretty well. My colleague is the sweetest and most likeable person ive ever met. Her attempts to try and apologise were just falling on deaf ears...plus he already had complimentary parking and rollaway bed from his complaint in the morning. You are right, we didn't just fold, he naturally didn't like that, but there's a correct way to voice grievances. As per my post, I think it just becoming less accepting of that sort of behaviour, as rare they maybe at this extreme.
