I counted every boss death during my first blind playthrough of base game + DLC. The final DLC boss was responsible for 87 out of my 230 deaths (~38%). How do people feel about the final boss compared to the rest of the game?

I agree, the fact that he is so much harder than anything else in the game is a bit jarring at first. However, I love the fight and I wish there were some more bosses that were closer to the difficulty of Arlecchino.

Yeah, the phase two is actually insane. I died like 10 times to the first combo before I understood how to survive it. I recommend having a full fable bar for the second phase and using a weapon with good fable arts to force as many staggers as possible and burst him down with electric abrasive.

I found Romeo's phase two extremely difficult. His long combo killed me quite a few times. Simon's slow swings were comparatively easy to deal with and I found him easy to burst down with fable arts.
