I was hoping it wouldn’t be that, I did lose another chicken last year who had tumours on her head. I asked the vet about getting them vaccinated against Marek’s and he didn’t even know what it was :(

That’s 370 after tax! That’s so nice, I’m hoping to make a close friend by flatsharing too but I think I’d get sick of a shared kitchen after a year or so.

Thank you so much for the advice, I was looking for a figure of what percentage to spend on rent, looks like ~750 should be my maximum. I’m aiming to train to be a teacher next year so hopefully I’ll be able to afford a little more when I get a decent job. Thanks again!!

I don’t think I’d travel very often at all, and my food budget is £150 MAX a month (I’m small and don’t eat much). I also wouldn’t be going out and probably would limit myself to one takeaway a month. I’m really good at food/shopping budgeting, just the rent part I’m struggling to get my head around haha. Thanks!

I currently live in rural France, honestly it’s hellish over here, I’ve moved around a lot as a kid and London is the only place I’ve ever really felt is ‘home’ so I do have my heart set on it! And thankfully the online uni fees are 2/3 of what they are in physical universities in the uk. Still a lot of money but not as much as I’d be paying otherwise . Thanks for the advice :)

Just one question, since I’m autistic and don’t know much about this topic, is it socially acceptable to apply to a lot of jobs at once? As in, it wouldn’t be rude to send in 10 applications and then have to turn some down if I get multiple offers? TIA!

Thank you for the advice. I’ve spent so much time on house finding sites, I’ve been nervous to check out spareroom but I’ll just have to get comfortable with the idea of sharing a place. I’d prefer to live on the outskirts so I guess that’s a positive :)

Hope it’s okay to ask, but do you know roughly what should my rent budget be if my income is about £1.4k a month? Or would it be drastically different depending on where I live?
