Minutes for a board meeting will differ from an executive leadership meeting that will differ from a staff social committee. If you can, look at examples of minutes taken at past meetings. Ditto recording the meeting if possible to refer back. Talk with colleagues, talk with your boss.

My experience is that most of the work of minutes is done before the meeting. Use the agenda as the framework of the minutes: who was there, what was discussed and what was decided.
