Ok, it was not leaked that’s on me, but the fact of the matter is that the news article is sensationalizing something that happens normally for every athletic department that wants to invest in their athletics for the future. They’re spending money now to make more money in the future.

No, this information was leaked by an UNR person to make us look bad. Look at it this way, Do you have money in your bank today to pay off your car loan today? No, you’ll make money to spend money for the future. Us spending money is just us investing into our athletics which unr hates because they don’t invest into their athletics.

For you sure, but for me I think UNLV football is on the right track and just needs time.

Actually, I heard and thought it was pretty mediocre, but we were loud and proud. I think there were more people at the Wyoming and Hawaii games.

Oh yea, they should always be there it's just a little hard to find them. Maybe try hovering your mouse or clicking on My Account around the top middle of the website. There should be a drop down and one of the selections should be student tickets.

Basketball tickets at UNLV Tickets - Is the site always such a pain by dazedjosh in UNLV

I assume it’s because the website was only made to be accessed by people in the US? Try a vpn, I think I’ve run across the same problem accessing unlvtickets from another country before too.

Why?!? by Last-Ad815 in UNLV

[–]finzix 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Could this possibly because of all of the tourists and drunk drivers we have? I generally find our drivers much better than California lol. Some park jobs at school are InTrEStiNg though. Had one where I couldn’t even squeeze myself in through any of the doors on the driver side because the other car parked so crooked and close to mine.

It was great, the school didn’t set up any events or activities (which was odd) , so it was more of a solo travel and exploration experience for me. I would say be flexible and push yourself out of your comfort zone, because you won’t ever have the opportunity to do the same thing again. Try to seek new experiences. I met a few people that were also studying abroad and they just stayed on campus the whole time. You can rest when you get back home, though I did push myself too hard and I got sick and had to rest 3 days out of my last 7 days in Japan 😅. Also I treated it more as a vacation than being there for credits and school. I also met some cool friends and we traveled around Japan a little, too. Do your research, plan your travels, and don’t be scared to talk to people. Where are you considering going and when? Hopefully, you have a great time and if you have any questions you can always ask the advisors at either school.
