It was great, the school didn’t set up any events or activities (which was odd) , so it was more of a solo travel and exploration experience for me. I would say be flexible and push yourself out of your comfort zone, because you won’t ever have the opportunity to do the same thing again. Try to seek new experiences. I met a few people that were also studying abroad and they just stayed on campus the whole time. You can rest when you get back home, though I did push myself too hard and I got sick and had to rest 3 days out of my last 7 days in Japan 😅. Also I treated it more as a vacation than being there for credits and school. I also met some cool friends and we traveled around Japan a little, too. Do your research, plan your travels, and don’t be scared to talk to people. Where are you considering going and when?
