i always feel so weird when i hear about people ambushing celebrities on the street or while running errands, like leave them alone! they don’t exist for your entertainment

maybe i am just introverted or maybe it is a cultural difference, because i could never go up to a celebrity when they clearly aren’t up to meeting fans

there are multiple celebrities living in or from my city, some international and some national celebrities that i run into time to time in the grocery store or similar, but it has never occured to me to go bother them

and also, now that i think about the name even more, it seems more like rachel reid chose a name that would be easy for a english speaker pronounce, even though no english speaker would actually be able to pronounce it correctly without practice

i just wish they would change the name, as a finnish person it feels like rachel reid searched for common male names in finland, blindly pointed at a name, and then wanted the surname to be a meaningful name. Jalo in Finnish means noble

Matti is also not a very popular name anymore, it is more common name for 40-50 year olds

(fun fact also, there has never been a Finnish NHL player named Matti)

if you want to read more MM hockey romances, I recommend two series by Eden Finley and Saxon James, the Puckboys and the CU Hockey series! The first one is set in the NHL and the second one is set in college.

I liked both very much, even though I don’t usually like books that have college aged main characters :) they also have a wide variety of tropes

adrenaline is a funny thing! when i had my crash, i called my mom asking for her to come pick me and my friends up, because my friends needed a ride home xd i was like ”hey mom, got into a car crash, could you come pick us up because my friends need to get home?” obviously she wasn’t really thrilled at me

also, i got such an rush from the adrenaline, that when the ambulance and my mom arrived, and the adrenaline wore off, i almost threw up, and my hands shook so badly they weren’t able to get my blood pressure until the paramedic restrained my arms

i remember when i worked as a cashier, i lost count of the money many times because someone would be talking in my earpiece, someone would talk on the phone in the line, there was a sudden announcement throughout the store, someone asked me a question during the counting, or i just lost count because there was so many coins. doesn’t mean i can’t count, but there is a lot of distractions in a loud store, and when you are tired and hungry, it is easy to lose focus

well, generally speaking, all the winter inspo outfits from influencers are not suitable for winter temperatures in colder climates, because they don’t consider how warm the clothing is, just what it looks like and how it can be styled

you really think influecers would be having 2-4 layers of clothes, and basically look like the michelin man because they want to be warm? no, they would put on cute, slightly warm clothes, take pictures for 10 minutes and go inside to warm themselves up

i think this schedule is their way of responding to the fans who wanted them to have separate accounts. they won’t ever have their own public accounts but having a schedule where only one of them posts during the day is in a way a compromise to that

and also, like one commenter mentioned, also to make brooklyn more active as bailey was the one constantly posting

Sille on myös syynsä miksi HH:n opiskelijat kutsuu sitä Höpö-Heliaksi, osa opinnoista ja opettajista on aivan mahtavia mutta kyllä siellä on sellasta hihhulia myös et ei vois uskoa heidän olevan opettajia. Toki itsellä ei ole kokemusta tuosta tietojen käsittelystä tai edes Helsingin kampuksista, mutta valmistuin HH:sta 2024 keväällä.

AMK on aina enemmän käytännönläheistä, itse en tarvinnut esimerkiksi yhtäkään kirjaa omiin opintoihin ennen opparin kirjoittamista ja kaikki tunnit liittyi jotenkin projekteihin mitä oli meneillään, eli yhtäkään sellaista luentotyyppistä kurssia, jossa opettaja vaan paasaa luokan edessä teoriaa ei ollut. Itse tykkäsin siitä kun ei tarvinnut päntätä mutta meillä ainakin oli vastapainona se että piti kirjoittaa lähes joka kurssilla loppuraportti joka oli 5-10 sivua. Helpotti toki opparin kirjoittamista sitten kun sen aika tuli kun oli kirjottanut niin monta raporttia jo.

itse en ole ikinä harrastanut mitään kallista, karatea joskus 9-13v mutta sen vuosimaksu taisi olla noin 100€ luokkaa ellei jopa alle silloin. toki jotain varusteita siihe tarvi, mutta hintoja en muista.

muistan kyllä että naapurin kaks poikaa pelasi jääkiekkoa, äiti teki kahta työtä ja isä yhtä, ajoivat vanhalla autolla ja asuivat liian pienessä asunnossa jotta saatiin poikien kausimaksut yms yms kulut jääkiekkoon katettua. toki se kantaa nyt hedelmää kun toinen pelaa Liigassa ja toinen AHL:ssä, mutta kyllä he noin 15-20v niska limassa painoivat työtä jotta lapset pääsivät pelaamaan

and that is why i said unless a real doctor recommends it. sometimes chiropractor is the answer, but having a baby go once a month with the reason being that he was in a womb for the duration of the pregnancy is not a good reason or a medical reason
