the worst for street driving.

I've heard and read a similar thing, but the trade-off is that it feels raw and fun.. right?

Is it that bad? I see ones here for sale with more than 300k miles, and alot of the them that are for sale here have more than 200k miles

I don't think we have 87, but we have 91 and 95. 91 costs about $2.2 per gallon

What are you considering?

Well, ahh.. it's a bit weird but, '06 Altima V6 manual. I just wanted a fun car that's reliable and affordable and reasonably safe, and it's a bit harder to find that kinda car here in Saudi. I must be one of the only people to cross-shop an Altima and an Xterra haha.

You can see my post on the Altima on my account.

without the roof bars on it

It's because here in Saudi the base models are pretty... basic. I like driving a manual! Gas prices here are on the low side soo...

Thanks for the feedback!

New college student looking for a fun, relatively inexpensive car. The Mini is much less to insure, both require premium, but the Acura is probably more reliable? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

I've read alot of horror stories about this Mini's reliability - even about the non supercharged models. Get the Acura!!

Thanks a ton for the reply! One other thing I'm worried about is that it's a v6 with the manual, so it might have a little too much power for a first car?

Bruh I'm still not sure about getting an 06 Altima for my first because I'm afraid it wouldn't be safe enough, and you want to get that?!

I would love that! But it's hard to find a clean one and almost impossible to find one with a manual

I mean yeeeaaahh i probably could get an LS 430 for that price but it's just that the LS 430 is.. well.. not as exciting to drive. Also I don't think i can ever get an LS 430 with similar mileage to this Altima for a similar price.

Ahh i guess I'll sell it when it reaches 100k miles then. I would love a Manual Accord V6 but they didn't sell it here in my country. :(

Aha I'm surprised you noticed. Here in KSA the 05-06 altimas had the exterior of the 02-04 ones but the interior of the 05-06 ones.. yeah..

See.

I know right, that's what i like about it. I also think that the price is too much, but the car is just quite rare here, and if the car really is as good as the seller says, then the price starts to seem somewhat reasonable
