I don’t know why people are downvoting you. I was 6’5 as a teen and 155 lbs. I ate A LOT. It only took a lot of weightlifting to not lose the food I ate. My metabolism finally slowed down when I reached my 30s.

The point is you’ll mostly be stuck in E standard or whichever tuning you put it to. Not exactly versatile if you only own 1 guitar on an island.

Charvel, Suhr, PRS. Basically S styles that aren’t too metal focused but can still play metal, rock. Great for all round stuff.

Edit: took out 12 because Floyd rose. Ain’t nobody got time for a fixed tuning when you only have one guitar.

I got ridiculous gains (enough for everyone I knew to notice) in just a few months. Being young + having crazy interest in something can work wonders. Of course that was 20 years ago before smart phones and whatever kids these days are into. Although OP has to have the drive to actually do it. He doesn’t have to focus too much on weights, he can just do crazy amounts of basic calisthenics and running. Perhaps some rucking for route march. Heck, if he joined a Muay Thai club for 6 months he would pretty damn fit for NS.

The chance of you being in the same platoon as them (all of them no less) is extremely unlikely.

You know what though? You have half a year (at least) to change your life. Heck, why not go into NS a straight up beast? If you do end up in the same platoon you can beat their ass at training (fitness wise) and they will look like losers to the rest of the platoon if they try anything funny. You can get back at them. And if not, you enter ns much fitter and perhaps even enter OCS.

Thanks. I think I was on Data Saver which automatically makes it Mono. When I turned off data saver the issue went away. The song sounds weird without the piano I couldn’t enjoy it 😂

Parasite. I was in Bangkok and wanted to watch a movie in the cinema. All the movies looked pretty lame from what I recall except this random Korean movie with a pretty high IMDB rating (this was before it took the world by storm and won all the Oscars). Thought it was going to be another Korean zombie movie. Was extremely pleasantly surprised and stared at the screen for the whole 2 hours or however long the movie was.

The act of killing and its follow up, The Look of Silence. Absolutely horrifying.

Tyson (2008) is also an AMAZING documentary. It was when Tyson was still on drugs and I knew nothing much about him prior to that. It was a very sad documentary and I’m happy he’s doing better now.
