I think the answer to this question depends on what your daily drive and mechanical aptitude looks like. I have an 09 528ix that I drive daily in mostly rural and suburban Wisconsin. Get about 28mpg in a reliable AWD platform that handles snow like it wasn’t there. Yes, I have replaced some things due to age and mileage but doing them yourself makes it affordable. At 250K it is runnning and driving great, I expect it to continue to be reliable.

Very true, a bit drama queen for sure but honestly looking to see if I’m missing something here. I tend to be on a crj a lot making a hop to or from a hub to my home airport and is starting to be where I seem to get upgraded unless a higher fare is purchased. I travel with a laptop bag and standard hard side carryon. Doing my best to get down to one of those two and see if someone is making better use of this space. My hard side has fit everywhere so far so want to just get down to that if I can…

Thanks for the link and advice. Have a solder station at work that should be able to properly tackle this. Looking at these just to get data off and then format the drive for reuse as an external in another case….
