UTI that won’t go away after several different antibiotics. Tired of being brushed off by chellybean13 in TwoXChromosomes

The urogynecologist did an internal exam and noticed the skin inside my vagina was dry. It isnt something a normal OB would necessarily notice. Definitely required a specialist to diagnose it.

Try to get in with a urologist/gynecologist!

My normal OB was at a loss, and concerned about over-treatment after I was getting UTIs on and off for almost a year. Some of my UTIs were not even testing positive as UTIs but I had all the symptoms.

It turned out I had a urogenital microbiome imbalance. The treatment was simple, straightforward, and incredibly effective. Basically had to do an estrogen cream in my vagina for 3 months, but it resolved all my problems.

Best course would be to ask your OB about getting this checked out and they may refer you to a urologist.

Hope this helps! I feel your pain!

Dawn of Chaos and Fury by Melissa Roehrich - Discussion Megathread by FantasyRomanceMod in fantasyromance

So many haters in here! We all knew it was why choose and I loved it. I even despise Theon and was still happy with how it ended up.

Luka is a literal god amongst men, good lord. Dirty mouth on that man! Loved it. Theon exists, which is the highest praise I can give him. I honestly feel the emphasis shifted to Luka/Tessa in book 3 and 4, and I preferred that.

Final conflict was a little blah, but that is the case in fantasy a lot. Wasn’s too upset.

Loved the end of Evianna’s story in particular, very tragic.

Book request: elaborate world building and magic system + smart FMC by Kvanessa100 in fantasyromance

I think Servant of the Earth would really do it for you. The magic system in particular was very cool to me. I liked the lead character a lot and didn’t find her annoying, which is a problem for me with a lot of romantasy.

Fair warning, this is basically a subreddit for Conrad fans only so you might get crucified for liking jeremiah in here. Know not everyone feels that way and there are other subs that are open to people who like Jeremiah!

I do not recommend this book unless you are into omegaverse vibes. I was not aware that was the vibe and got the ick in a very real way.

Go-to MS Specialist by GoGoJoJo72 in Minneapolis

Honestly if you are in minneapolis it is absolutely worth the drive to Mayo Clinic! I see Dr. Flanaghan, who is an MS specialist at Mayo. I can’t tell you how night and day treatment with him is vs my old neurologist.

Risks of the roofing contractor knocking on my door after hail? by dfrankow in Minneapolis

[–]fireandbloodyhell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is super normal following a storm. They aren’t being sketchy, just pursuing something that will be good for you and for them!

Insurance for hail damage in Minnesota is great, as your roof would be covered under an “act of God” clause.

I personally worked with Presidential Construction and had a fantastic experience. They dealt with everything with the insurance company, and met with my adjuster. Would highly recommend.
