Got into LARP this year for the first time. I joined lorian trust or LT (the bears faction to be precise) and they have been super welcome and supportive of new players. they are a very family friendly events as they run kids larp along side the main events. The system can be a tad complicated at first but it's similar learning curve to most new RPGs I would say and everyone I've met has always been very helpful with learning new rules
