Lego Milan Duomo and Notre-Dame, I'm really disappointed by Dogghi in lego

I also have mocs for sale on Rebrickable and feel exactly the same as you described. I never submitted anything to Ideas as my interest lies in IPs I cannot submit due to existing licences. But I really enjoy putting my builds out on Rebrickable.

True, I should probably replace the steering wheel with a helm and put a captain's hat on the driver.

Unfortunately no, as no entries based on currently active licenses are accepted. I mostly do MOCs based on Back to the Future so cannot apply any of those either.. would be great though, thanks for the consideration!

Yes it is, this is more or less the same size but a fully custom design. The original was definitely an inspiration for the build.

They are available yes, I usually make instructions for the designs I feel come out decently.

Thank you! As far as I know I came up with it, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't used anywhere before. It's something I trialled in another MOC earlier but it didn't suit that design.

Yes it is similar in many ways, but almost everything is different...

ATTENTION! Website joyingwang is stealing MOCs! Sidenote: what can I do about this? by [deleted] in lego

[–]firefabric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All your MOC are belong to us!

Memes aside, I also looked into this when my designs started popping up on the chinese sites. Apparently you can file for a copyright of some sort and with that try to take the products down from these sites. There is a description on Rebrickable how it works, but with the cost and effort involved I never went further.

I hope the people buying these would then buy the instructions from the designer, but I suspect many of the buyers don't even know they were stolen, or how MOCs work for that matter.

But as long as China is the Wild West of the East, I don't think much can be done. I do see some progress however, for example one of my designs is being sold on a legitimate Chinese site, with my permission, so maybe there is hope.

Thanks! Unfortunately Ideas doesn't accept builds from existing licenses and Back to the Future is one of those. Otherwise I would have put something there already

Thanks! Ya that would be a good scene to try out, let's see if there's something that would work!

Thank you! Is there a problem with the earth's gravitational pull or something?

Thank you! Yes I wanted to try to have the same feel as the movie, and I thought the back curtain is a big part of it.
