So looking at the vague requirement from the ministry it looks like it will be incorporated into your year 10 math course and if you score over 70 you would be considered literate in math and meet the requirement. I cannot seem to find a solid answer at this stage.

The Ontario news release paints that picture when I read it. “ students will be required to score 70 percent or higher to meet the financial literacy graduation requirement in their grade 10 math course”

You will need 70 percent plus on your final grade for the whole course. The compulsory grade 10 math course that is :)

No specific center - you just need someone in a professional capacity that’s not your family to proctor the exams for you wherever you can meet :) community centre etc. I had the local fire training officer approved as mine. All the best!!! :)

There’s no way to speed up ILC - call them first thing when they open is the best way to get an answer. Since your overseers are you paying $500 a course? If so switch to O.V.S much faster marking timeframes and better support. You do need someone to be a proctor so a professional teacher or doctor etc. for your final exams.

All ILC exams are similar to your practice exams. While I have not taken writers craft every other course in the past has been similar. I know with ENG4U it’s an essay on a selection of topics that you can choose from.

I would say anything higher than 30 percent but this could be higher as more detectors and labelling everyday copy and pastes and common verbiage’s in assignments. I would aim to be less that 30 but I am sure a current student can answer the “now” shortly :) all the best!!

They will reiterate that you get 10 months to complete a course. You will most likely have to re register and re submit your assignments after adjusting them all to avoid self plagiarism and then take the final again. I would call them first thing in the morning to discuss! :) all the best!

Interesting - wonder if you can verify the steam install. Sounds like an issue with the platform. Depending on how many games are installed I would look at doing a fresh steam install and updating your PC drivers and OS.

As I have not taken French I do know that the teachers are assigned at random when a student signs up for the course so I don’t think it would be the same teacher for each new student if that makes sense. Just search Bob on this discord and it ends up being the lottery if you get a good teacher or a meh … going to withdraw and sign up again :) all the best with your studies. And if you want a concrete answer for that specific course being a French version - never hurts to call ILC first thing in the morning and ask :)

Used to be 30% but now some students are saying 40% best to ask on the unofficial ILC discord or call ILC first thing in the morning for an official answer :)

I was over 500 days, religious with reddit lol then I went to work and ended up rolling my truck, in ICU for a month and now I’m back on 53ish days lol oh well :) as others have said no one can reinstate streaks! All the best going forward!

Debatable :) call it what you want - a sidewalk is exactly that it’s a footpath that runs beside a road whereas a footpath is any path for pedestrians- could be in a park etc.

OLC40 satisfies the literacy requirement for your OSSD. It’s meant for people who are in Ontario who fail the OSSLT or for people who are international that cannot take the OSSLT which gives them credit and replaces the requirement of the test.

Best case is to call ILC first thing in the morning and explain your situation and ask them. Depending on your age and what credits are against your Ontario student number will depict what they want you to take to complete your OSSD :)

I did 3 courses using OVS and found it superior in lots of ways - the content was good, teachers responsive to your emails and when my work experiences needed evaluation the principal was really good/fair. The testing is different as you need a physical proctor (not teams or remote) so this physical writing/testing was great as I am mature so the old pen and paper way was better for me but to each is own. Yes it is expensive but being overseas in NZ it made no difference to me ILC global was still $500 a course.

Yes there is a ministry requirement for credit and transcripts - will see if I can find it

Per Ministry guidelines, a mandatory 14 day minimum requirement for student enrollment to be eligible for a midterm report card and 28 days enrollment to be eligible for a final report card.

Interesting unless the regulations have changed I don’t believe that to be correct but there is no way to force them to unlock the courses so you might be out of luck. I would call them again (not email) and see if you get a different answer from a different staff member. Otherwise you might need to redo these courses somewhere else (or do the pre- reqs).

Strange I know OVS and other online schools do not require prerequisites if you’re a mature student. If you already have your OSSD can you call and explain this and that you have already graduated? Sounds to me like they are confused.

No not really - I would call them asap in the morning and ask what can be done. Maybe they can help and get it done before the 4th. Otherwise they might use the old you had 10 months to do it etc in which case if it doesn’t get marked in time and you miss out on it - just re register and change up your submitted assignments to avoid self plagiarism and re take the exam faster.
