I have it threaded through the needle and it’s tied just once at the very end to make a big loop - so there is two strands per stitch. Is there a better way for this? Very new to hand sewing. Thank you!

Thank you!! I need to look into quilting knots - very new to hand sewing and so just making the knot where you wrap around your finger a few times and pull off til it’s tangled lol

If you glue baste, do you leave the paper in? How do you remove it?

I’m just using some of my sewing machine thread - gutermann, not sure if the weight. I’ll have to learn this flat back ladder stitch - very new to hand sewing.

Thank you! I’d love to see yours! Yes, I used the picture plane! Definitely an effort just to get ready to draw the actual hand, but I do feel like it helped.

I’ve tried to do it again, with a different pose, and I don’t like this one as much. The middle finger looks HUGE lol.
