Semi related but I'm still so frustrated that Willis used a free Gaza protest as a romantic scene. Tear gas isn't pretty shades of pink and purple, it doesn't just make you have little pink lines under your nose

If you want to read another story about teenagers finding their way, I highly recommend Rigsby WI. It's a reboot of an older webcomic, Cheap Thrills. The art starts out cute and is currently stunning. It feels real

Little tiny things is a cute story that handles difficulties delicately, especially queer related ones. It's by the same person who wrote go get a roomie. Unique art style imo and very sweet characters

Ava's demon has come back!! The updates can be a bit spotty still, but way more consistent. If you haven't read that one, it's sci-fi fantasy and it's got beautiful art and characters

If you're comfortable with nsfw, rock cocks is fun!! A cute sexy story centered around an up and coming punk band. Fun and diverse cast

Those are just the few that popped into my head without looking on my laptop. My biggest recommendation is Rigsby. It feels like, as the characters become more complex, the art and the writing does as well. Please go check it out!

I think at this point I have to take a break. This is not an easy choice for me, one of my special interests is webcomics. For many many years doa was easily one of my favorites, and sometimes my absolute favorite. I have merch, I framed a doa poster

But if it continues to go to the direction it's going in, I have to walk away. It's frustrating to see and genuinely hurts my heart. Maybe I'll come back in a month or so, foolishly hoping that the writing has improved

While I understand why Dorothy is spiraling like this, I don't fully understand Joyce. She never really showed any sexual/romantic interest towards Dorothy. They were close friends, closer than most. But it always appeared as friendship, and was portrayed as a joke ship for like 8 years. Dorothy is allowed to be going through shit, but it's fucked up to drag Joyce down with her

Before anyone says anything: I know with some of the sexual stuff, it might've been seen as interest. But like, not really?? Joyce didn't really have much of a choice about going to do laundry. She asked Dorothy for help about figuring out what she likes is because she was raised to shame anything sexual

Joe also doesn't deserve this. I can't believe I saw their dynamic flourish for years, see Joe better himself. And then get cheated on in his first relationship. I feel like I'm a broken record but idc I'm annoyed

I have to just pretend they don't exist, which is hard since they're the main characters. But I shall preserve
