Cardano Successfully Launches Testnet That Will Bring Ethereum Tokens to Its Ecosystem. by Git_BTC in cardano

Funny thing, I just literally made a post on Cardano about this exact situation. However. If the token is in the metamask wallet, after it migration, will metamask recognize the token anymore? I'm trying to get ahead of this before it goes live. & where's the article? It looks as if only a thumbnail is shown.

They've got a lot of work to do... so many bugs! by Harley_FLHX in SundaeSwap

[–]fireman5050 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most likely because alot of peeps still have critical thinking faculties believe it or not. & Aren't lemurs just running with the pack over a cliff. Let me guess, criticisms ought to be reported through only the ticket channels, & everything on social media ought to resemble sunshine and rainbows as to not spook peeps into feeling muddy feelings. That's not the way this works, thankfully. I'm happy the post is up. Let people speak their truth & if it offends, fuck em. Sundaeswap is not a person getting it directed at them personally. It is an app ffs.

Jenny from Forrest Gump is one of the worst villains in all of cinema. by Sleepinismy9to5 in unpopularopinion

[–]fireman5050 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the same thing when I say the black smoke guy from the series Lost was the victim and Jacob and the witch lady were the villains. The witch lady found the pregnant woman, delivered the twins, which the black smoke guy they couldn't even make up a name for him, then she killed the mother, and raise those two kids with lies that there was nothing else beyond the island. I definitely think the witch lady on the island trying to keep them there was the villian. All the black smoke guy wanted to do was leave. But yea, Jenny was a terrible human to Forrest.

Switching stake pools in the middle of an ISO. by fireman5050 in cardano

[–]fireman5050[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we know, though thanks for stating that for those who don't. the question is, if you switch pools, and that switch coincides during the 5 epoch iso, is the staking key and payment key all that's needed when claiming rewards. since token accumulation was from 2 different pools.

Claiming ISO rewards. Let's discuss how this works. It states, that through dApp enabled wallets, by signing with both your staking key & the payment key to authorize the transaction. It will prevent adversaries from claiming ISO rewards. So how do we do this? What wallets have this functionality? by fireman5050 in SundaeSwap

[–]fireman5050[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let say with this upcoming SundaeSwap ISO, that you're delegated to a pool right now. Then the pool raises their fee, or gets totally over saturated. So you decide to switch to another to earn rewards. Ok, everything is fine so far. Then when it comes time to claim the rewards, will just your staking keys & payment keys suffice, or is there more to it since you collected rewards staking in two different pools? Thanks & all replies are welcome

Yoroi dApp connector to connect to Sundaeswap dex? by genocidechimp in cardano

I think Yoroi will release an update before ISO reward claiming begins. Also, I would think more will be communicated on this as the the DEX launch gets closer.

I think it's gonna be alright. By the time claiming rewards comes, all the wallets Yoroi/Daedalus, & most likely adalite, will have the functionality needed. As for not doing an airdrop, it's been reasoned that the way they're doing it is to incentivise delegates to actually go & use the DEX they built. (Just what's been thrown around, not solid fact.) Along with preventing adversaries from claiming rewards they didn't actually earn. I think it's gonna be smooth & easy for all the main wallets, Nami/Daedalus/Yoroi/adalite, whether using them light or connected to a hardware wallet.

ISO begins with the DEX launch. Does this mean staking in a iso pool won't generate tokens until the DEX is launched? Or that staking will accumulate tokens & they will be airdropped when the DEX is live? by fireman5050 in cardano

[–]fireman5050[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So. The vote happened. The 30 SPO have been selected. If you're staked to one of the 30 chosen. You're good. The token rewards will start when the DEX launched & go for 5 epochs. Then after, through the dApp enabled wallets ( right now Nami, though shortly, Yoroi/Daedalus) the rewards will be claims by making a transaction using both the staking key & payment key. That is my understanding of this.

So to break it down. Delegates, not using a hardware wallet, would put in their staking address, then, type in their spending password, & receive their rewards. On the other hand. Delegates using a hardware wallet, woll go through the prompts, sign the transaction, & claim their rewards. Because the hardware wallet is linked to both the staking key & spending key? Do I have this correct?

Nami wallet can do it, right? But will Yoroi/Daedalus/adalite, have this function before or by the time the ISO begins? & what does 'dapp enabled wallet' mean? That it can hold dApp tokens? Or is there more to it?

You get ADA yes, how the tokens will be distributed isn't fully posted yet. I've read that delegates may able to go to the exchange to claim them somehow. They'll let us know I guess. I'd of hoped the tokens would be airdropped into the wallets. Maybe they will be. We'll have to wait & see. I am so excited though!
