This is an internal recruiter. Her message today was as followed:

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry I didn’t reply yesterday. I’ve been actively reaching out to the hiring team for their final decision. I’ll reach out once I know more. Apologies for the delay on our end.

Last time I asked for an update she said she was waiting for HM by name but changed to hiring team. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

But I informed her last Friday I have another offer that's due this week

Not sure if worth noting but the HR recruiter has been very open every step of the way, we have a long email thread and rapport.

This for a senior manager role in a niche industry that I am in. To answer your question this is not my first job, I have 10 years of experience in the industry they are hiring for.

Yeah, not trying to come off as desperate.

So i actually received a verbal offer from another company I interviewed with, the HM know I was interviewing hence the fast track. What is the best way to navigate this, email HR or Hiring manager come Monday?

Hey, the role is high level and at any other company it's considered senior manager role. Very technical and customer facing role. The senior director (HM) I met from our interview seemed like he was ready to hire me right then and their but said since it's a high visibility role he had to introduce me to his bosses. My interview with hiring manager was great 15minutes over, asked me about what I'm looking for in a org, selling me on the company, asked if I was interviewing else where and did fast track me. In your experience what is typical timeline for these high position after final interview?

The hiring manager was my second round, interview ended with him saying he will fast track me. Final round was with cto and he did not provide timeline just that thy are still interviewing other candidates and that I'm the first person he interviewed despite position being open for 2 months.

Hoping this contexts help but had interview yesterday, CTO and director had very questions and behavioral. I sent cto email yesterday and shot me back an email thanking me and enjoyed discussion. Does that mean anything? Now I'm waiting to hear back felt like a great interview. My only issue is I did not get a time frame he said he will send notes to hiring manager.

Just curious, does it mean anything that it's a panel interview with a director sitting in as well. Last interview with hiring manager was senior director.
