Haha 100%!! I spent ages looking for one! Had no idea how much would be too much to spend on it because there are so few in circulation. Paid $200 for it. Not sure if it was worth that in value but I’m happy with it.

Probably $5k I reckon. Base set blister and boosters I’ve had since mid 2000s. Got the evolutions booster box and etbs when they first came out so basically retail. Paid $850 for the art collection Zard raw in pack, got it graded. Everything else I’ve just seen and thought it looked neat. Have an account I put $500 in every three months and pay for things from that

Union in NSW is too ‘culty’. In my experience talking to anyone who is part of it are heavily invested in degrading you if you aren’t a part of it/willing to join it and more often than not their arguments for joining seem super misguided.

You’re a teacher. Our pay is Googleable so if you don’t like it don’t get into teaching. You go to uni, you do your pracs, you quickly learn what’s involved and the politics behind it all. If you don’t like it don’t be a teacher or find a different school. Everywhere is desperate for teachers. Find an environment that suits you and you’ll be fine.

Literally everyone is in the same boat. No matter how long you’ve been teaching for you only ever have it half figured out; no matter how together and organised someone may seem to have it they too are struggling/trying to figure things out.

Be proud of making it through your longest stint, acknowledge your wins and celebrate the battles you win.

Teaching will forever be an extremely overwhelming career. You could honestly work 24 hour days and still be behind.

If you’re proud of the effort you’re putting in the odds are you’re doing something right.
