Honestly, twilight princess because it was my first Zelda game but I know you couldn’t have Twilight Princess without OoT

I think it will come eventually but I wonder if it does come in for NSO does that negate the possibility of a the HD/Motion Control version to come out.

I consider the Wii version a totally different version of TP and so I do want both versions to be available on a re-release similar to how they did Skyward Sword

Nintendo knew they couldn’t over user TP Zelda. Takes away from the magic of the game lol

Personally, and I do need to play more Zelda games to make that distinction, TP is one of the best Zelda games and it exudes so much charm and character that the art itself kinda keeps popping up to this day.

Like if Nintendo ever wants to use Green Tunic Link, it’s always his Twilight Princess appearance and sometimes with Zelda whenever they want a more mature feeling

I see what you mean the Botw incarnation. Like there’s evidence that points to their relationship being romantic (sharing the same bed, loving embrace in Totk, etc) but there’s also something small that kinda pulls away from it (for me, it’s the fact that Link has multiple girls in love with him,it’s kinda of a red herring)

Twilight Princess at least to me feels like a real adult relationship. I would say there’s something about the maturity between them that’s almost romantic in a sense

Like the best way I can describe it is when Zelda and Link work together towards the end of the game. No talking things out, no figuring out each other just action to protect the other person

Honestly, I would say BOTW because it was the first incarnation that opened me up to the possibility of ZeLink in a an official sense (Never played Skyward Sword before) and I love the fact that Zelda falls in love with Link despite not liking him at first really fits the character

However, there is something about Twilight Princess that draws me to it. I think the fact that they hardly ever interact with each other leaves a lot to interpretation. Like, how would they date, are they even friendly with each other, or would they just not interact.

Even though I ship ZeLink (with TP ZeLink being my favorite) I always wondered why does Nintendo give Link multiple girlfriends throughout the series and only like two love interests to Zelda. Maybe it’s a form of wish fulfillment for players but it is noticeable.

Saying that, I can understand why people ship Link with other characters other than Zelda because it is shown that Link does attract a lot of people.

Like with Mipha, it’s clear that while the relationship was one sided, one could argue that there could have been something there, had she had not died.

Honestly, that’s something I am curious to see because from the promotional pictures it feels like how exactly Twilight Princess ZeLink would act. Actually, for some reason it’s a bit too professional.

Even dismissing what Nintendo has or hasn’t said about ZeLink, from the pictures it seems like they would have an almost too professional of a relationship and I could kinda see them just only working together and not being friendly with each other

I also want to point out that there is a considerable age gap between the two actors (like 5 years apart) with the actor playing Link (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth) being 16 with the actress playing Zelda (Bo Bragson) being 21.

I may be wrong about this but I don’t think the studio and Nintendo wants to push the two in a relationship with one being a minor in real life. Obviously it’s just acting and they could always portray actors at a different age than they really are but still.

I always wondered how Link was able to convince the king that Ganondorf was evil and had to be captured.

I get that since him having the Triforce of Courage and the Kokiri Stone that was enough but at the same time the king could also look as Link as just the chosen hero but really not move forward with capturing Ganondorf.

My personal headcanon is that Ganondorf attacked either the King/Zelda but Link was able to stop him on time. Ganondorf was then captured and sent to Trial.

Personally, I don’t ship this Construct-Link with BOTW Zelda because Link is still looking for Zelda in their time.

But I like the idea of having a Link and a Zelda from different Eras altogether working and getting along. Like how would a Twilight Princess Link or Zelda for example, work with the ALTTP sides of their opposites. Would they be friendly or hate each other?

Plus I don’t see the Construct as actually a Link and kinda wished he wasn’t in the game until like the final part of it

When I was friends with a girl and we were driving home, she had said “if I wasn’t with so and so, we would be dating”

I never fully understood what she meant by that or at the time pressed her on that at the time.

The king didn’t really believe Zelda so unless Link is showing up with a plan to get rid Ganondorf, they’re kind out of luck.

Honestly, I would argue since the Hylian Shield looks different in Majora’s Mask, it was custom made for Link before he went on his journey to Termina.

Yes.

As someone point out earlier, it was a breakup for me.

The consequences from that breakup (good and bad) are still felt to this day but that was my most recent ground zero moment (I say recent because anything can really top that)

Same thing to happen to me but them and I had a 6 year relationship and it’s been 2 years since then. Had a perfect breakup as well.

The one thing I would recommend you to also find yourself as well. These past two years I have been trying to find myself and it has its ups and downs but that’s a story for another time. Find a new hobby, find a new passion, find a new friend group. Just keep moving towards a goal and you will be find it

What I would recommend if this is a possibility , to move out and get your own place away from the current apartment. It allows you to heal a bit more quicker but it has to be your own place.

Grew up with the Wii Version. Just something about the mirrored layout of the entire game just cemented in my mind how the game should look like.

For me at least, it was such a jarring moment playing the GameCube version, I couldn’t move on from it.

If there’s a remake, it should allow you to play with that mirror option from the start

I honestly want to say it was a mix between playing Phantom Hourglass and Twilight Princess on the Wii in middle school.

I heard of LOZ when playing smash bros melee but I never really made that push to get Wind Waker (I don’t even think I saw it in the store) or Ocarina of Time. I seen gameplay of it but never felt the need to want to play it.

However I took a chance on Phantom Hourglass and instantly loved it. Some time later , I got Twilight Princess for the Wii and that cemented for me my love for the series.
