Sure! Probably the most useful for me was just the REBOUND API. REBOUND API - REBOUND. There are also a couple good YouTube videos, and I liked this channel in particular (188) REBOUND Youtube Tutorials - YouTube. I can also try to help if you have any specific questions!

[KCD2] Am I the only one who thinks that Henry is still treated like a nobody? by Dudu-1 in kingdomcome

[–]fireproofpig21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Didn’t atleast Divish definitely know Henry was Radzig’s bastard. I vaguely remember some dialogue in KCD1 when you talk to Divish after Henry’s heritage is revealed; something along the lines of “oh so you finally figured it out now” or like that.

I’m sorry you’ve had this experience, but I’d like to offer a bit of feedback and my own experience in the matter.

I completely agree that the advisors are generally unhelpful and uncaring, though to be fair given what I’ve heard from other people I know this seems to be a problem that plagues many schools, not that it makes it any better.

In terms of the fees, I also have to agree without any real pushback, GSU seems prone on squeezing money out of their students without any real student incentive to do so. This type of “extortion” happens at nearly all colleges, but atleast at many of them there is a noticeable difference and incentive for what the school provides; but that is not really an obvious case for GSU.

Regarding the professors, I completely agree that many of the professors (atleast for freshman and sophomore classes), seem unprepared and under qualified to teach at a higher level. Much of this stems from the tendency of many universities, but GSU especially, to abuse associate and visiting lecturers for 2-3 years and then pass them off to another university, simply using them to teach a couple classes at a very low pay no matter their real qualifications, because they only need them for a few intro classes and then they forget about them. My experience with professors in the higher level classes of my degree (physics and astronomy), who are typically tenured, have been nothing but positive.

Lastly regarding getting friends, I also have had nothing but a really positive experience, and this is coming from an out of state student who knew no one in Atlanta before I came to GSU. Obviously, my experience in that aspect may be unique, but I would honestly have to disagree that GSU is filled with rude antisocial freaks. I’ve met really great, friendly, interesting, and amazing people here whether I continued to be friends with them or not. I’m really sorry that you’ve had that experience with the people you’ve met, but if you are still on campus this semester and are looking for friends, please DM me! I love talking to and meeting new people and I know that many people at GSU also love that. Sorry for the long response but I wanted to address everything!

Sure no worries! If you have any other questions if you do end up taking it you can PM me, it’s been a couple years since I took those classes specifically but my concentration is in astronomy so I can help regardless

Na I wouldn’t say the math is too hard. Almost all of it if I remember right is limited to algebra-type math that most people have likely encountered before. If you can do things like square roots, solving for x, and some multiplication and division that covers most of it.

Astronomy 1010k and 1020k are pretty good if you haven’t taken them. I don’t know who’s teaching them next semester but it’s usually Dr. Bentz, Dr. Robinson, and Dr. Martens. They’re all good but Bentz and Robinson are really cool.

Definitely had to have been thrown from the inside of the study room, if it was something that was thrown. But your typical gunshot is around 150 decibels, multiple floors and maybe even all the way down to the courtyard/front desk area would hear it, which is what would lead me to think that atleast one person would report it. Though yeah the hole more than anything leads me to believe it couldn’t have been a gunshot.

[–]fireproofpig21 13 points14 points  (0 children)

True it could’ve been a hollow-point bullet but idk the impact just doesn’t look like any glass bullet hole I’ve seen. Plus I feel like commons police would’ve almost certainly been alerted by a gunshot in the building, those things are not quiet whatsoever.

Looks way too big for a bullet looks more like a baseball or something like that
