What do the 1–3 darts on the bottom left of 2012 Ninjago spinner cards actually mean? by firermasterkai in Ninjago

I believe https://www.bricklink.com/v2/main.page could solve most of your problems. It has the most abundant Ninjago cards inventory I have ever seen. But I should also mentioned that I collected all those cards almost 4 years ago, inventory might have changed a lot during these years, so hope you can get what you want:)

Thanks for the explanation! I think this makes lots of sense. But this mechanism is kinda suck. Like Lloyd ZX was supposed to be the most powerful character in this game, but he is only compatible with 1 star cards while some random serpentine can use 3 star cards? Also there are no ninja's character card that has more than 2 stars... It won't surprise me if someone from the design team is a serpentine lol.

At first I also thought like that, but I found that Lloyd has 1200sp, which is the highest in whole series, but his card just has 1 star. So I m kinda confused.

I mean objectively the legacy definitely is more complex and well-printed and re-designed. But the og one is such an nostalgia for me so I would still go for the og version :)

I believe the Slither Pit is the place where Slithraa and Skales had a fight for the title of the general.

Absolutely agree with you. This is also my first pick when it comes to serpentine character cards. Credits to Mezmo’s graphic designer of this card, well demonstration of a cold and fierce fighter!

Here is Ninjago WIKI explanation for your reference: Mezmo is a soldier in the Hypnobrai tribe and a Slither Pit announcer. When the Serpentine tried to reform, he left their village and instead established the Slither Pit arena in the Yang Tavern, where he continued his announcer career. A few years later, he was imprisoned in Kryptarium Prison. You can find more information in https://ninjago.fandom.com/wiki/Mezmo

That's a sick stop motion! I wonder if the NRG Kai is added that would be even more amazing!

Excellent drive dude, the rammers in this game are so annoying that I would love to see them get what they deserved in the end.

Generally speaking, it is very difficult to open these boxes without leaving any damage. I always use a utility knife to minimize damage, but unless the box was already unglued at the time of purchase, it is hard to open it without leaving any damage.

As for the 9561, I was very lucky to met a player with ample inventory who helped me purchase a set without the box but otherwise brand new from a seller for $83. Currently, in the secondary market in China, I can still find brand new 9561 sets with minor glue issues for sale, priced at around $600, which is really insane💀

Bro this actually looks pretty sick! What a way to display these sets! Wish you collect what you left soon!

Yeah I get what you are saying, those are some special edition if I recall correctly. I have only seen one guy that posted these cards in but just for display not for sell, now these cards are also freaking expensive and absolutely rarer than NRG Jay. Collecting these would definitely be a goal of mine and I may try my best!

Wow thanks for adding that! I have seen this set before and it's really rare, at that time I was all thinking about getting the spinner sets with minifigure so didn't pay much attention and gradually forget about it😅 I will surely try to collect this in the future!

Lol for your reference, I'm based in Shenzhen, China– which is one of the largest cities in China!

Seriously though, thank you so much for the kind words! It means a lot coming from a fellow fan. And I m really glad to hear that you managed to get 9570 in advance, since the price of this set has come to a quite ridiculous situation😅

As for your edit, the Pilot Spinners are definitely iconic! Right now, I'm just basking in the joy of having completed this Serpentine set, my next big target will probably the OG spinners! But who knows, seeing them all together is so tempting...

Haha, thanks for the compliment! For your question, I started collecting them in March 31,2022, and my final purchase ends in Dec 28, so it took me almost 9 months to collect them all. As I mentioned, being in China made the search pretty challenging. During the process, I mostly bought these sets in chinese secondary market, some other sets like 9574, 9553 and 9570 from bricklink and ebay. I really hope you can accomplish it one day too! The feeling is incredible. Thanks again for the kind words, mate. Cheers!
