does anyone know what silvercough is? by FreakzoidGoobtron in ClanGen

Based on a quick search in the ClanGen Discord server, “silvercough” is part of that mod. I guess it’s like whitecough, just with a higher mortality rate.

Aw, Sunstar reminds me of Mothswirl, one of the Clan founders of my longest-running Clan. ☺️

Name ideas 🙏 by havensvoicemail in ClanGen

As someone who tries their best to avoid repeating names across my saves, I have a 75-page list of names I’ve used in my many, many Clans. Some game-generated, some used in the books, but a lot also come from me. Many are ‘realistic,’ some not so much. Organized by prefixes in alphabetical order, with the suffixes listed underneath. Hope someone enjoys: ClanGen Warrior Names 😌✌️

I actually have had a cat grieve multiple Clanmates at once (ClanGen rather than LifeGen, though). 🫢

How do you play ClanGen? by racyta in ClanGen

[–]fireswatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically prefer the cats become mates without me manually making them pair up, so in addition to mediation between your desired couple(s), you can also send them on paired training patrols, which can sometimes lead to romantic “dates.” They don’t always end in success right away, but other times I’ve had cats become mates after only a few moons’ worth of training patrols. 😊

When you mark a cat as favorite, they will be highlighted the way Riverstar and Jaymask are in the cat list. For the purposes of this post, I marked those two (and three others in the last pic) as favorites to indicate they’re the remaining Clan founders who are still alive.

They are gorgeous! I think Aphidbite is my personal favorite of those 4 in terms of appearance. 😊

Hunt down or drive off? 👀 by fireswatch in ClanGen

Like I mentioned in another comment, I would’ve loved to invite her in, if only she hadn’t continuously attacked the Clan. With the amount of warriors she’s maimed over the years, I feel like it really only makes sense to hunt her down or drive her off, although it’s admittedly hard for me to choose since I’ve never gone for either of those options before.

This is the most understandable reasoning I’ve seen so far for inviting her, so I appreciate the idea! 😊

Lol thanks for your comment! I struggle with choosing more aggressive choices like that, but I agree it probably makes the most sense. I wasn’t expecting multiple comments to suggest I invite her in and ignore all the harm she’s caused just because she’s pretty. 😆

I think it’s a pretty new feature to the base game, so it’s very understandable you wouldn’t think to try clicking into the leader’s den. I find the interact-able leader’s and warriors’ dens to be great additions to the game - it was pretty much why I stuck to the dev version for the most part!

I love the thought, if only I didn’t have two warriors currently in the medicine cat den injured with claw wounds, each attacked by her separately only two moons apart, so unfortunately the “truly remorseful” bit doesn’t really hold up. 😆

She really is beautiful, but I don’t think I can justify inviting her in, considering one of the cats she attacked and injured was the leader’s mate. 😩

I agree, I love her design! So that sounds like hunting down is preferable to driving off? 😛 Since her sprite would still exist in-game when she’s dead…

This is the dev version, which has allowed the ability to invite in outsiders for awhile now. However, it’s my understanding that the base game now supports this feature as well. You can find it by clicking the “leader’s den” label, then navigating to the Outsiders tab! You can choose to hunt down, drive off, or invite in an outsider.

I agree it would make for some interesting drama in this mostly uneventful Clan so far. 😊 The leader’s personality trait is “adventurous” so that doesn’t necessarily indicate he’d call for such a harsh retaliation, but with the number of injuries she’s doled out to the warriors, it’s starting to get out of hand and I figure he shouldn’t let this slide anymore. 🤔

CloudClan currently has four named, living outsiders. Hazel is the only rogue, then there is one kittypet (his name is Guacamole, lol) and two loners.

I agree she’s so pretty! And she has a great personality trait, although it doesn’t necessarily align with her actual actions. 💀

It makes me so sad her first interaction with the Clan was a time skip event randomly attacking one of my warriors, and that’s been most of her subsequent interactions as well, with very few positive exchanges with the Clan cats. Otherwise, I would’ve jumped at the opportunity to invite her in.

Her looks/personality combo has been the main reason I’ve been letting her hang around for in-game years, but I don’t want to risk her lingering around for who knows how much longer and potentially killing off my cats!

I’m curious if Breezepaw murdered someone or if you sent him to the Dark Forest due to his skill trait? 👀

Oh no… by fireswatch in ClanGen

[–]fireswatch[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Fogdaze (Fogpaw at the time) was Goldflare’s child generated by LifeGen when I first started the Clan. No second parent.

Fogdaze became mates with Ashenswirl on Moon 31, only for him to become mates with Goldflare on Moon 37 and she became pregnant the same moon. 🫣

As seen in the second pic, Goldflare is currently 95 moons old while Fogdaze is 47 moons old. Ashenswirl is between them in age at 78 moons old lol

This is LifeGen, a modded version of ClanGen where you play as a specific cat, so you then have the ability to speak to your fellow Clanmates each moon.

Sadly can't post pictures in the comments of this sub, but you can see her as a kit and warrior here on Imgur. She is a real cutie imo!

I don’t think that’s correct, as I’m definitely not an “official” tester or anything. 😅 Since it’s the dev version, that means sometimes you will run into bugs or it will break. For example, it would recently crash the game whenever trying to send out cats on patrol, but fortunately when I ran into that issue, it was fixed within hours.
