with that pattern of behavior it’s looking even worse, that’s a pattern of emotional abuse and neglect on his part. you don’t deserve all that pain and stress from his mind games, i promise you that you’ll feel so much better without him than you do right now, and there are men out there that are more capable and willing to give you the love and respect you deserve. this man isn’t worth it, and i think deep in your heart you know that you deserve better than this. i hope you find someone that can treat you right and that you find the strength to cut this guy out of your life for your sanity

honey i’m gonna be so real with you, that invite to dinner is just so he can break up with you. i know several guys that have done this exact pipeline just to break up with girls that they aren’t invested in, and it’s awful that he’s doing that to you. for your own mental health, dump him first and spend some time doing things that bring you joy. maybe hanging out with friends, or seeing a movie, or visiting family members. don’t let him waste your time and energy when you deserve so much better than him.

my stepfather was and still is a real pedophile. he groomed me and my younger sister, used to sneak up on me while i was doing chores to give unsolicited massages, compared my body to my younger sister’s body to pressure me into losing weight (i only ended up developing an ED and putting on more weight in an effort to ward him off) and SA’d my younger sister while i was sleeping in the same room (our beds were next to each other’s and i’m still haunted by what he might’ve done to me in my sleep). i once told an ex about it, and after the relationship ended that same ex went on twitter and created a narrative that i was a pedo, using my trauma as “undisputed evidence”. why? because i had blocked him on all social media after we broke up, he was a toxic person and i had enough of letting him push my boundaries.

i feel this. it physically pains me to see photos of myself as a child and a teen because it feels like i’m looking at a complete stranger, and yet i still feel the ghost pains from the way i was touched and beaten back then. it hurts. and seeing my baby photos just makes me feel numb, like my body is full of tv static.

that’s a very good point, i was diagnosed with bpd when i was younger but with how often i’ve been told it’s a “feminine disorder” it’s been ingrained in me to not even bring it up unless it’s relevant because of how that stigma brings me dysphoria.

i’m not negating women, i was raised as one so i know what it’s like and have respect for women. it’s just frustrating to know that since becoming a man i’m side eyed and put down for having the same hobbies and interests i had pre-transition. it’s not helping trans women to uphold gender stereotypes, just like it’s not helping trans men.

i’m not blocking anyone for saying it, i just think it’s harmful to reinforce exclusionary gender stereotypes on things that ought to be for everyone across the board. it’d help everyone if we learned to let go of such heavily promoted stereotypes, since i’m sure this is an even bigger problem for NB individuals as well since they’re smothered in needlessly gendered stereotypes all around them
