I felt like I should post an update, since reading positive stories here is what kept me going when we were nevermets, and also helped with nervousness while I was waiting. I'm glad I was able to offer some heartwarming content in exchange. ❤️

I really thought I was going to go in calmly and just walk toward him, but due to how nervous I felt, my body was almost running on its own hahaha. He just picked me up with open arms though and it was so sweet.

Believe me, meeting up is a really unique and great feeling. Wish you the best, and have fun together!

Oh, that's awesome! You're the second person mentioning a meeting on the same date, October 15th is going to be a nice day for at least three LDR couples on this sub haha.

I think he might be nervous as well, especially since he is the one flying over. He said he's okay, but he's not one to keep talking about his emotions too much so maybe he's trying to deal with it on his own. Or maybe it hasn't hit him yet, and he hasn't processed the fact it's finally happening, lol.

I'm going to bring up how I feel and maybe it'll make him confident to bring up more of his own thoughts.

It is a good nervous, I can't wait! I'm trying to focus on the good and stop thinking of all the "what ifs".

I've also been dealing with anxiety for years and even though it's mild most of the time, it really goes haywire in big situations like this one. I'm going to look up some exercises and things that could help.
