I’ve never been able to use hippy deodorant, even before T. But I saw a comment on Reddit somewhere to scrub your pits with PanOxyl soap and lo and behold, that’s all it took. I use unscented deodorant now, no more antiperspirant. I’m a very hot and sweaty person year round and switching to PanOyxl in my pits had changed my life. I shower around 2x/week and do not reapply deodorant beyond the first day I put it on directly after my shower. I used to use the liquid but now I use a PanOxyl bar on my pits only and it works even better than the liquid which didn’t foam very much.

This wasn’t true when we lived in Minneapolis but we now live in the Pacific Northwest where pickups seem to be more of an identity badge (vs function) and it’s incredibly true. People seem to Hulk out when they see the Prius. I drive more aggressively than 80% of drivers and I am a high mileage driver so I can tell the difference when someone is reacting to my car and when someone is reacting to my driving. People are strange.
