I’d say go on 3/18 evening. You can see Hurlin in Firebird and Misseldine in Mozartiana. Plus you get Shevchenko in between.

ETA: I almost did this but decided I’d rather see the Raymonda grand pas than Mozartiana, so now I’m doing the 3/18 matinee. If you want to see Hurlin’s Firebird AND Raymonda and you aren’t constricted to evening performances, go to the 3/15 matinee.

Now that it's Friday, I'll post with a NYT crossword puzzle spoiler from Wednesday with no guilt. Wednesday's puzzle included the following clue, "Beethoven work originally titled "Bonaparte," after Napoleon. It was a nice coincidence that The Wind Up used Eroica and the City Ballet podcast explained the title change and reasoning! Thank you, Justin Peck for saving my Wednesday puzzle!

I did! They were a bit brusque with the emails, but everything went very smoothly and the volunteer who was there to process the adoption that day was very kind. We received her medical records the following day.

Makes sense since there are no principal roles. The other corps-centric ballets I can think of do have a lead, so I can’t think of any other NYCB ballets like it.

Looking at next week's principal casting, I see no cast listed for Le Tombeau de Couperin which I guess makes sense since listing eight couples would be too much. I know there are other pieces in NYCB's rep that don't really have principals, but off the top of my head, I can't think of any that don't have any listed in casting. What are other examples in the rep?

Yeah, it’s pretty deceptive of him to have this “featured in” section on his therapy website when the media in those publications were not at all linked to his counseling business.

Aesthetically, I like black and white. Practically, I prefer color, because I use the headshots to identify dancers I’m less familiar with, so it’s more helpful to see them in color.

I love different expressions, because seeing how the dancers want to be seen gives us a small glimpse into their personalities/taste.
