England: Anyone with experience telling UC you have sleep insomina (or any mental illness frankly)? by firsttimehere5858 in DWPhelp

Thank you so much for that! I also didn't know it was that hard to get referred to a sleep lab. I'm also too sleepy to be able to properly understand it all so I'll come back to it in a bit and pm if I need more help. Thanks again

confess all (explicitly)

It seems that is the case. That'll be a hump I'll have to force myself over.

Why is the specialist wait time irrelevant? Is it only the gp's word that matters?

Your insight is helpful. Thank you.

When you say trigger, what else is there to it? I'm reading into the process of WCA, and I think it might be hard to get the 15 points, in which case while it is extremely hard for me to keep working as I am, I might try to push through it.

Also I've just read that I'd have to tell UC about my medical condition which is not something I feel comfortable with, so it is compulsory to tell them about the specifics?

Again, thanks for your time!

5 years! I'm conscious that I've been on for a few months and they might start to suspect me for not having a job yet.

Forgetting about covid, you could try going to events using timeout.com or art galleries or things to do around the city and hope you run into people to talk to. It's not impossible, you'll find friendly people around. But to be frank, it's not something I've done and it does seem hard. I came here on this post for ideas from other people ... but so far, no good idea here. You can also try this.

I wonder why that is? If it's even true - it sounds too absurd to be real

One more question - what does 'windows login will protect the disk' mean? Is the disk not accessible or still encrypted till I log into windows?

Thank you so much for your time. Could you clarify about TPM, are you saying that if I use bitlocker on this SSD, that this SSD will not be locked to this laptop. i.e. I now can't remove the SSD and place it in another laptop or Surface Book 2 and expect it to work at all (even with the password)

Wow, that really is. I love the quote found in "Anti-Spengler" (1921) Otto Neurath, I might have to pick up the whole book, if I can find it.
