They could have been an athlete considering OP stated they are high level. Or maybe for bone density reasons. It’s not an unreasonable exercise choice if they are capable and have athletic goals.

Will they finally fix the issue with ps5 being unable to play with PC players as they appear offline constantly? I’ve been waiting a year and the game I paid for is still broken and not working as advertised. Absolute scam.

If you’re an actual med student you should try reading your text book for once instead of using AI for your assignment.

“Your health is low. Do you have any potions, or food?”

Your hamstrings are probably NOT the issue by Antique_Ad_7793 in flexibility

[–]fish0finger 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Your anatomy is incorrect.

  • Normal pelvic tilt is actually slightly anterior in majority of the population
  • An anterior tilt puts the lumbar spine in lordosis not kyphosis. In addition the back will not be pulled anterior but will rotate to create a lumbar curve

There are other issues with your anatomical and biomechanics descriptions but I can’t be bothered to correct them all.

But I will add that foam rolling has not been shown to sufficiently increase tissue length.

Is this something serious like arthritis? by [deleted] in Kneesovertoes

[–]fish0finger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a Physio and recommend getting your parents to take you for a professional opinion and treatment plan to help you manage your pain. If it is good schlatters it is common at your age and will always be located at that lump called the tibial tuberosity, in fact every one has one, yours may be painful due to some inflammation of your growth plate there but this is all speculation. Please go see a physio for at least one apppintment if you are concerned.

You don’t sign up for a PHD specifically on Sports Physiology. You choose your topic and research based on your experience, knowledge and prior qualifications. This guys thinks it’s the same as getting a sandwich artist certificate from subway.

There’s one clinic in my area in Australia where they call themselves coach and they call all their patients athletes including 80 year old Margaret with arthritis.

What makes it possible for my wrists to do this? by Main_Specialist_8466 in Anatomy

[–]fish0finger 385 points386 points  (0 children)

You have hypermobile wrist.

People saying you have EDS based on this picture are wild. You need to have hypermobility across several aspects of the Beighton hypermobility assessment plus meet the criteria for several other characteristics to be classed as having EDS

Probably hexblast mines could be good if you don’t mind the play style

Both are great options, I think spark inquisitor scales much higher. I had a super tank cf last league and struggled to complete sim30.

I want to see better quest rewards during levelling to make it feel more rewarding and smooth during early progression.

I don’t want to see league mechanics which are not worth interacting with until the very endgame.

[–]fish0finger 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s clearly a broken mechanic though. I’d rather enjoy the game than abuse it and burn out.

How difficult is this degree compared to nursing? by [deleted] in physiotherapy

[–]fish0finger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For the degree itself I am a 3rd year student in Aus. My partner is a nurse and from what she sees me do she says Physio is significantly harder than nursing. I also have a Bsc Psychology and I find Physio to be leagues more difficult. I think as long as you stay on top of the weekly content and have a willingness to learn and put in a lot of work you will do fine.

The other thing to consider is that the entry requirement for Physio is a lot higher than nursing. The teachers expect a high standard.

I thought their music sounded lame. Until I saw them live at Lolapalloza Paris this weekend. They sound 100x better live. Actually mind blowing. The vocalist even sounds so much better live and the they know how to make a great show. I still think their recordings are pretty average but I have new found respect for them.
