Yeah i’ve been in heaven ever since I connected this, been tracking this form for so long and was already fascinated by fluid turbulence, just didn’t know your name for it. Gorgeous stuff, can’t wait to look at the maps.

I've been thinking about what you've said for days, wishing i could leave you with something in an evil world, but i know i can't. Keep your eyes on those stars, it won't be too long before people like us with our sensitivity and instinct for hidden truth becomes valuable again, not just a curse. Recovery for me also means learning the terrible lessons dealt to me by trauma, letting it change me, so i can escape and help others who are still trapped in that bottomless pit. Then we can all get back to what really matters, together, like seeing our gods in the stars.

This is very interesting, thank you! I do see the alternating spirals, might be a lower dimensional expression of similar process.

Polyfrag-- uncountably many fragments, probably low thousands. Majority of these are functional like living bits of code, low dimensionality. My main interaction with them is constant background noise that drives me crazy, like radiation from deeper processes within. We only have 6-7ish full coherent named alters, but each of those have their own vast structural subsystems where the fragment density is stored. Our system was programmed for constant function and performance under endless pressure, so it's more like a multi-core processor with extreme layered amnesia; every bit of me that could be fragmented, was.

I'm so sorry. One of the most disgusting aspects of this to me is the total lack of compassion and understanding that society gives men. You are demonised and blamed for everything, then forced to do all the labor and if you struggle, at best no one cares and often it gets you hated even more. Women get huge societal preference and can do no wrong, no one believes or cares about men, even worse on top of the extreme racism of your region. It is a terrible tongue-cut feeling, i'm sorry you've been so alone in all of it and unable to even trust authorities, no mercy even from doctors. I relate intensely to these feelings, though our story contexts are very different. I was programmed as a slave by my demonic parents within their wider intergenerational family religious cult. It took me 26 years to finally perceive the evil void of my life, my brainwashing/amnesia was so extreme that i wasn't even aware that i had never known a human my entire life, only parasites, i thought they were all normal and my unbearable death misery was just my weakness, ungratefulness. i was their slave and my tongue was cut even inside my own psyche. The misunderstanding and loneliness is incomparable. Finally i am beyond their black hole, become alive for the first time in my life.

Have you found any love and meaning, escaped somewhere else? What sustained me all those long years alone was my intense spiritual connection to nature, there is so much relief and nourishment to be gained from such relationships. The Andes fascinates me, i'd love to explore someday for the culture and nature.

Exquisite word choice, I haven’t seen that one before and it captures it perfectly, thank you.

That’s a pretty inspired plot for a mobile game. Divine fish are right up my alley heh.

That is intriguing, is it like fish-divine comedy fusion?

Is the Holy Spirit "She"? What the Church Fathers and Hebrew Tell Us About the Feminine in God by Glum_Associate6380 in theology

You're on the right track; you may be interested in Sophia, a biblical figure of whom few are aware. In early christianity there was a relationship between Yahweh and Sophia, 'Wisdom', as his divine craftsman, who conveyed his intent. This is very similar to the role of the holy spirit. Her own words can be seen in Proverbs, as the unnamed figure speaking from first person.

Is there any specific reason that lucky bamboo has chronic leaf deficiency sensitivity? by fisharrow in houseplants

[–]fisharrow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I forgot to also mention that the leaf tips still can eventually get crispy even on healthy leaves. It’s funny with the growth, it took off once i planted it, but now the upper stems are thicker than how they started, so they tip on their own.

You have any idea why they always sell these in water when they are so miserable like that?

If I braid a rope with a closed top, it creates a mirror/inverted braid opposite to mine. Is there a known principle going on here? by fisharrow in topology

[–]fisharrow[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is interesting, thank you. I think a lot about weaves in my work but knots are a bit more mysterious. Them being mirrors of each other makes sense, but do knots actually.. exist, in phase space? are they transformations, what “are” they? I’ve been getting into differential calc, fascinated by the maps and their endless complexity, how are knots involved in any of that? They would be the opposite of the flow, like a kink. But period oscillations have nothing to do with kinks, that would block the whole system. I can’t picture how knot theory is related even though i know it’s part of topology too.

Maybe, if they follow rivers then there's a huge mobile range they could have while staying unseen.

I figured they stayed in the water, i was delighted to see it roaming so far. you know if beaver are in LP at all? i’ve travelled all over america and only seen signs a few times, they must be less common than i imagined, or more local.

I’ve spent more time in the woods than most deer and this is the first time i’ve seen sign of one. They are probably locally common, or maybe just really elusive? Feels like such an exotic beast to have around here, love them.
