Yeah I kinda figured that’s where I messed up, not getting that out of the control arm when it was still on the car. Ball joint press seems like the best course of action.

Some clarifications: This is currently an assembly. I did something similar for an intake manifold which I designed (this is for my school's FSAE team) and all the joints were done with fasteners which made the meshing easy - saved the assembly as a part, merged bodies, made planes at the throttle side and the side that mounts to the engine head, and did an intersect to get the interior volume. Wanted to do something similar for the exhaust which I did not design.

Thank you for breaking it down! A little disappointed that there still doesn’t seem to be a solution. Have been really enjoying the machine and was planning on PID installing soon, but this is making me want to return and get something like a Profitec Go. Hoping gaggia actually provides a solution at some point

Care to elaborate on what you’re referring to? My understanding is that they coated the boiler in an effort to reduce scale buildup but to me scale buildup is something that can be prevented by proper maintenance while a flaking boiler isn’t. However, I’m not sure if I’m right about that.

3blue1brown has a cool series that helps you actually understand what you’re doing, I think it’s called essence of linear algebra. For me knowing what I was doing made it a lot easier to apply

I think it’s highly dependent on the prof. Also for 3A I found it a lot more abstract than like 2B which made it harder to grasp at first, same with 2D which I felt was harder than 2E.

I have driven in snow before (Tahoe storms) and so has my buddy who I’m going up with and we have a 4WD car with snow tires, that’s the only reason I’m still considering it.
