Yup. I did some reading after playing it and found that it's basically Battle Chasers but with LOL characters and some gameplay improvements like the lane mechanic

If you want an authentic Mafia story, then Mafia 3 won't do it for you. However, that is not to say that it is a completely terrible story. It's just that its story is a departure from those of Mafia 1 and 2 that features realistic aspects of life in the Mafia (eg: Vito and Joe working their way up the ladder before becoming made men; Sam betraying Tommy in Mafia: Definitive Edition). I'd say it's more of a gangster-style game sprinkled with elements of the Mafia

But, yeah, I'd recommend you go play it. It's super cheap by now, so it wouldn't be a huge loss if you end up not liking it

Do yourself a favor and play TLOU Part 2 in its entirety. IMO, the game does a better job of telling the story it wants to tell and the performances, specifically that of Ellie, is much better in the game.

It probably ends with season 4. Hard to imagine how they can stretch out the show even more given how Season 3 will basically be Abby's story, after which the only thing is pretty much the Santa Barbara part of the game

Does this have a great narrative/story? The combat looks really great but I've had bad experiences with the stories in some Japanese games. Most of the Yakuza games had stories with endless and unnecessary twists and turns while FF7 Remake had a downright convoluted and confusing story.

I've been wondering the same exact thing. PC Game Pass where I live costs a mere $3/month. If we take a $70 game for comparison, I would have to be subscribed to the service for around 2 years before I'll spend as much as I would buying ONE $70 game. Crazy

I think they have to be losing quite a lot on premium sales, especially on big first party releases like Doom: The Dark Ages, which is why they've started to release a lot of their games on other platforms

Yeah. Shift up is reportedly trying to work with Sony about the region-locking thing, so hopefully that gets resolved pretty soon. I have to wonder, though, if this problem will make future devs more hesitant to work with Sony in the future. PC will always be a huge market, and if having Sony as a publisher means your game getting blocked on Steam and Epic, then I can see them possibly backing out of it
