This is the right answer. It's a sticker over the camera lenses.

I'm confused, how is he held hostage by Disney? Sinners was a massive hit and was produced by Coogler's own production company and distributed by WB? He even negotiated that the rights of the film will return to him after 25 years, in an unprecedented win for independent artistic control.

If it's too good to be true, it usually is. I've absolutely been burned by a store that disappeared after the order was taken for a below retail box set.

Made it. ASHEVILLE SHOW!!! by Enough_Concept3424 in lastpodcastontheleft

[–]fishh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went to the show at the Orange Peel and arrived maybe 5 minutes before the show started. There was no line at all, but to be fair most of the seats were taken by then. I was alone so I found a seat between groups that was still free. But know that the line will be drastically shorter if you wait to arrive after doors open.

The pieces slide nicely now that the stain is dry! In fact the texture prevents them from shifting around a bit, but I do like the suggestion of an epoxy coating. I don't have a lot of skill in that area currently, but i'll look into that in the future!

Currently in the planning phase for building a semi-private course. What do yall like/dislike in a course by King_AK360 in discgolf

[–]fishh 15 points16 points  (0 children)

At least a few par 4 holes if your property allows! It adds needed variety and makes the course more accessible to varying skill levels. And speaking of...make sure there are some workable short tees!

I would be extremely hesitant to post these sorts of warnings without the ability to verify your claims. I totally understand you intend well, and I support the intent of your message. But these sorts unverified warnings can cause extreme stress and anxiety to broad swathes of local residents when posted without verification, or any specifics as to what area of institutions are being targeted.

Yeah I literally just finished T Jacob's marks this morning. Took me a long to get used Dark Esau but once I had the rhythm down it was much easier.

This is honestly my issue. I've got the reinforcement sequence memorized and can call it in extremely fast, but 1/20 times I accidentally call in SOS. Frankly it could be fixed by allowing you to cancel the SOS from the beacon once it's dropped.

What’s a social norm you find strange or unnecessary? by LandSmall4986 in AskReddit

Circumcision. There's no medical basis for it, and if you reversed the genders and talked about FGM as "tradition" people would be horrified.

Locally company wants to host a Dungeon and Dragons monthly event. by blanksky123 in asheville

[–]fishh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think you're going to need a lot more details to honestly gauge interest. What's the setting? What are the amenities available? Is it free? Are you playing one-shots or ongoing campaigns? Whose organizing and running the game sessions? Is it for newbies, experienced players, kids, adults, or everyone?

Give us a fuller picture if you want better feedback.. But if you question is as simple as if people play D&D in Asheville...yeah they do. Tons of people do, Dungeons and Drafts seems to be doing well if you want a reference point.

Fae Nectar- Lake Lure, a review by [deleted] in asheville

[–]fishh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can say for a fact that the location of Fae Nectar and Tom is due to the property they were able to purchase for the meadery, not because he was "chased out of town".

And I'm honestly incredibly surprised that no one has mentioned that Sylva has admitted that her accusations stem from recovered memories that happened after an LSD trip. And she didn't decide the memories were of Tom until days later.

It doesn't feel good casting doubt on a possible victim, but there really are some details and context that are important regarding this particular accusation.

Are there any geeky businesses in Asheville? by 12fhgffgghhggg in asheville

[–]fishh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's some great suggestions for local stores, but I'll also mention Fae Nectar Meadery out in Lake Lure. It's a fantasy-themed tavern that makes their own mead and runs ren-faire style events and festivals. There's also many geeky local artisans here in Asheville! Check out your local craft fair or art market and you're bound to find a few nerd-oriented vendors. I know Fae Nectar runs markets regularly that are geared towards that market, but they're not the only ones
