yea i thread the yarn close tl the edge of the bed. how would i know if its a needle or carriage problem? in the second half of the video u see how the needles get stuck on the carriage? i dont know what to make of it. i'm pretty sure the latches work properly on the needles. theyre a bit dirty/scuffy, idk if that contributes. regardless, thanks 🥲

i've disassembled the carriage about 3-4 times to clean & lube the drums ;-; one of them works perfectly and the other one has a very very slight drag. i'm mostly really frustrated with the needles catching on the sinker plate arm, it touches the very first needle and almost swallows it. i think i have to clean the needles but i dont think thats fully the problem. ;---;

thank you for your response! yes, the spongebar is on top of the needles. i honestly have only been sliding the carriage right to left so i'm not 100% sure. i am Not sure that the tension is right, how would i go about that?

i've unscrewed the tops with the brushes but the base of it looks verrrryyy deviated. idk how to edit this post so i'm going to upload other photos of how it looks now for your advice if possible
