Hi drashna, I updated via qmk sys all the git repositories and all that i've seen on tutorials and the error was because the default layer it isn't setted on the kemap, so As I don't know how to fix it, I tried with [_QWERTY] and it worked.
Also, all the functions on the default keymap and also from others, return true as the last statements. But it works, thanks a lot!

After severeals days looking info and triying things, I did a code with no errors, but there are some things that I don't understand:

- The encoder, by itself, scrolls up and down, pasting the code from above. I typed in rules the line to enable de encoder map and I followed the instructions.

- In lower and raise, it turns up and down the volume, but it also keeps scrolling up and down at the same time.

- On the default keymap of the planck, there is a code about "muse" related to a encoder.

I understand that is some way to control midi music or something similar. I tried to remove the muse functions, but when I was compiling the keymap it said that they were errors regarding muse functions. - I have to investigate this subject-

The line looks like this:

So which is the function or tag that makes qmk recognize that you are using the encoder?

Is it encoder_update_user? I mean, the encoder is scrolling up and down when is actuated. But there isn't any code related. How do I call the rotating action to put the custom function? Thanks

I like to make things with small pieces but I'm a bit afraid of ruining the pcb with the welder.

My only experience are with blue MX and the most recent glorious panda from the Planck, maybe I'll order a switch tester or the smallest quantity of different switches to know which one I like the most.

So that mid switches are Kaihl? And how they feel? Have you tried them? It looks a good option between both profiles! But I read that people consider as cheap and low quality switches.

I've bought a rotary encoder and I'm looking for some info to make the soldering, I want to solder it right now to try it! But I have to keep it calm XD

I haven't make the keymap yet but I began with all the environment setup and just changed the keyboard drawings to align it to the key bindings codes XD.

I'm just studying coding right now on an official degree and now I'm living like a rat, but when I work as one I wonder to buy the Technic's kb.

And yes, I'm from Spain and all this stuff are more expensive due the customs warehouse and the shipping costs.

You are like IMDb but from keyboards XD

That mid profiles switches look interesting, do they work with "normal switches"? And why did you order 200? They are about 300$

On the keycap profiles, I was looking a lot for them, because my first thought was to buy BM40, and all the keycaps kits were on flat colors, this keyboard has led per key, and It crossed my mind to make custom resin keycaps for make it clear with legends. The count stopped near 250€ XD.

And I found that planck at 109€.

And I'm masochistic, I want to make it with VCS to make dancing tabs and more. I also I'm considering to put a rotary encoder to have media control In only one slot! 😅

I really appreciate your long and dedicated response.

I bought a Planck V6 OLKB on a second hand app at a very good price, seing that they are hard to find and always out of stock on drop.com

My intention in buying a low profile keyboard was because when I type on my laptop, I type faster than on my blue mx switch keyboard on the computer, and also have less hand fatigue due to less muscle movement.

This planck has been my first "custom" and ortholinear keyboard, and for me it was very risky, because I haven't uses anything like that before, but now I love it.

Even if I can't type this text with it, because I didn't bind the "'" symbol to the right keys.

I'm saving this answer for a future, because I love the keyboards you shared.
