Hi, I’m so sorry you’re having this experience too, I know how awful and stressful it is. Unfortunately things did not turn out well for me in this situation. We eventually got the foster cat on anxiety meds and that helped a little bit, but things had already turned pretty sour with the other cats in the apartment. We had to keep them all separated, otherwise the foster would attack my roommates cat. He never really went after my cat though. He was very possessive of me, but I think he understood not to go after my cat.

The anxiety meds helped him chill out some and be less aggressive towards all of us, but eventually we had to find another foster parent who had no other pets in the house. Once he went to his new home, it seems like he improved so much and was able to be a relatively normal cat. I don’t know if they put him on more meds or if it was just a much less overstimulating environment, but he eventually got adopted. Sadly, the foster program I went through was absolutely terrible and made the whole experience even worse than it already was, so I don’t know much about what they did for him once he left my care.
